Cachi
Valle de Lerma - Departing from Salta, the journey heads south through the Lerma Valley, reaching the town of El Carril. Cuesta del Obispo - The majestic Cuesta del Obispo and Enchanted Valley are surrounded by mountains. After passing Piedra del Molino (3,400 meters above sea level), the route crosses Los Cardones National Park.
Parque Nacional Los Cardones - Leaving the fertile Lerma Valley behind, the journey ascends the Escoipe Gorge, continuing along the impressive Bishop’s Hill and the Enchanted Valley, encircled by mountains. After Piedra del Molino (3,400 meters above sea level), the route crosses Los Cardones National Park.
Valle Encantado - Explore local grocery stores and pass through the village where peppers are dried along the roadside.
Cachi - Arriving at noon in the colonial town of Cachi, there are 2 hours of free time to enjoy lunch and explore this unique northern Argentine town. Its cobblestone streets, adobe houses, and timeless charm offer a glimpse into the past. During these 2 hours, visitors can wander the 10-block by 10-block area and savor the local culinary delights. Afterwards, the group reconvenes with the guide to begin the return journey to Salta.
Valle de Lerma - Before reaching the city of Salta, a technical stop is made in Chicoana or El Carril for snacks or restroom breaks.

Serranias Del Hornocal - Upon reaching UquÃa, transfer to a 4x4 vehicle to journey to Hornocal and enjoy the stunning panoramic views. On the return, a 20-minute stop is made in Humahuaca. It is advisable to bring a packed lunch or a light meal, as there is no time to dine at a restaurant in Humahuaca.
Humahuaca - Spend 20 minutes in the village of Humahuaca to explore and visit before heading back to Salta.

Salta - Departing from the city of Salta, the route exits via the central access, taking RN 9 and then entering the municipality of General Güemes via RN 34. The journey continues into the province of Jujuy, offering a glimpse of the Quebrada de Humahuaca and passing through charming towns like Yala, Volcan (technical stop), and Purmamarca, where the majestic Hill of Seven Colors is located.

Purmamarca - The first stop in the village of Purmamarca allows for a panoramic photo opportunity of the route, with the morning sun dramatically altering the colors. This stop lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Cuesta de Lipan - Enter the incredible Lipan Hill, reaching 4,170 meters above sea level, and admire its spectacular flora and fauna. This winding high mountain road, with its green and brown hues, showcases the beautiful landscapes of the puna.
Salinas Grandes - Arrive at the third-largest salt flat in Latin America, with 45 minutes to 1 hour of free time to explore the salt pools, sculptures, salt restaurant, and capture amazing photos in this vast salt flat in northern Argentina.
The Hill of Seven Colors - Return to Purmamarca for 2 hours of free time to explore the charming village and enjoy lunch. The impressive Hill of Seven Colors is nestled in the heart of the village, with its narrow, cobbled streets and adobe and mud houses.
