must go on tour! sights are amazing. - this tour was amazing! our guide dave was beyond knowledgeable and he gave us plenty of time at each landmark to really just take it in. we decided last minute to go on this tour and we would never hesitate again. Dave was fluent in what i believe was japanese which was so cool because he was able to cater to all of his guest on tour. the sights are remarkable and i would do it all over again. the van is comfy and the ride and scenery is pretty neat. can’t forget how good our guide was at taking photos of everyone on the tour!!!!

A walk through salty land - This was a fantastic trip which is a Utah must do. It brings alive the salty history of the area, the Bonneville salt flats, the speedway, the tree of Utah, the salt lake, the Wendovar Willie signboard and the WW2 aeroplane. Cody was a wonderful guide.

A fun experience - Our tour guide David was very friendly, polite and experienced, he’s also very knowledgeable and thoughtful. We enjoyed every moment of our trip in salt lake and it was a special experience to stand on the salt flat and see the mirage first time in our lives! Thank you David!

Stunning Views and a Relaxing Day Out at the Salt Flats - This tour to the Bonneville Salt Flats was the perfect way to wind down after a busy, fast-paced week in Salt Lake City. It was laid back, well-organized, and full of jaw-dropping scenery. My guide, John, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting historical insights about the area. He made sure to visit all the promised stops and gave plenty of time to explore and take photos. He even offered to take pictures of me, which turned out great! The salt flats themselves were absolutely breathtaking. Walking out onto the vast, mirror-like landscape was a surreal experience I’ll never forget. The Tree of Utah sculpture was another unique stop—quirky and abstract, but fun to see up close and definitely something you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re looking for a scenic, relaxing way to see one of Utah’s natural wonders without the hassle of planning logistics, this tour is a great choice.

Amazing Tour Experience at the Great Salt Lake - I just wanted to express my gratitude for the fantastic tour at the Great Salt Lake today. It was truly an unforgettable experience! Great little trip - Our guide, Sonsari, made the trip extremely enjoyable. Her knowledge of the area, geology, Bonneville competitions, and the environment in general were excellent and we learned so much about all of them during our excursion. She even turned around for us to see pronghorn antelopes close by. And did you know that giraffes are the closest relatives to the pronghorns? Neither did we, but because of Sonsari, now we all know. Totally made my dream my come true! - Where to even begin!!! I can't speak more highly about the Bonneville Salt Flats Adventure tour, our guide - John - and the entire experience Southwest Adventure Tours provided. I travelled to Utah for just a few hours to go on this tour on Friday by myself and has never been to the state before. Bonneville Salt Flats has always been a big dream of mine and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The pictures truly don't do it justice and seeing it in real-life was awe-inspiring. First of all - if you are like me (or most New Yorkers) and don't drive, this tour is just amazing and will take you to and for to the Salt Flats and Great Lake in a personalized, super comfortable way. For me - it was the only way I could have done it and am so grateful Southwest Adventure Tours made it possible! There's so much to see and they really made the whole experience so cool, fun and truly magical. Samantha - one of the tour organisers - was just above and beyond helping to answer all of my questions, checking in to make sure I arrived ok and was next-level supportive and accommodating. John - our tour guide - was also just the nicest guy and incredible passionate and knowledgable. He made it the most perfect adventure for my big dream to see the Bonneville Salt Flats and was a delight to talk to. I learned SO much about Utah, the salt flats and was so appreciative at how delightful the tour, driving and experience was. He and our small group also comfortable spent as much time as we wanted at each location, no questions asked, and made sure I could be back in time for a quick dinner with my team before a red eye to the airport home. Talk about above and beyond, super kind and caring. I couldn't recommend this more!! You will learn so much, see so much and enjoy the conversations along the way with John and his team. It was great but we... - It was great but we needed bathroom breaks. Also, your description should include stopping for snacks before the return trip.

Felt more like transportation instead of an adventure - We didn't stop at the tree of life. The booking says 6 hours, but we were back in Salt Lake City after 4 hours. The van was very comfortable. The guide was friendly and did talk during the drive, but the guide stayed with the van on both stops. I assumed the guide would get out with us and walk around with us. We had 8 people in our group.
