This tour provides the only direct route from Bath to Stonehenge. The journey to Stonehenge takes just under an hour each way. Luxury mini-coaches are used, featuring large panoramic windows, air-conditioning, and comfortable seating to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable trip. During the ride, the driver/guide will highlight various sights, including panoramic views of the Salisbury Plains, Celtic Hill Forts, and Thatched Villages. On a clear day, the renowned Westbury White Horse, one of the Chalk Hill Carvings of Ancient Wessex, may also be visible.

Comfortable and interesting guided tour - We took the half-day tour with Dan from Bath to Stonehenge in October. Although his skills as a meteorologist are lacking, he is a great tour guide. The ride itself was very comfortable, and he gave us lots of interesting tidbits along the way. Once we arrived at Stonehenge, he explained everything well, and got us set up with our admission and on our way to see everything. The app he recommended we download ahead of time was interesting and helped us understand the monument a bit better. Two things to keep in mind when you go is that it is colder than you think it will be because the wind just blows through there, so take a sweater, and make sure you have an umbrella because the rain comes out of nowhere. We got soaked because the rain came when we were at the farthest point of the monument, and there is no shelter anywhere from it. Luckily, we were able to warm up in the cafe with some tea before heading back to Bath. On the way back, Dan once again provided some interesting information and recommended a great local pub where we ended up having a fantastic meal (The Raven) on our last night in Bath. I would highly recommend Scarper Tours; the booking was easy, all the information was readily available, and the tour itself was very comfortable and interesting.

Stonehenge Afternoon Tour - The tour was amazing. Went in the afternoon which is apparently quieter than the morning. Not overcrowded, plenty of time to see the sight and the guide was informative and funny. Added benefit was a small group tour which is great when visit busy tourist sites.

Perfect half day trip! - This tour was great, and just what we were looking for. The pick up location was clear and easy and the tour itself was great. Our guide was thorough and charming without over doing it. The bus was very comfortable and the location itself was powerful—goes without saying.
