Day trip to visit famous places around Neapol. - It was perfect! We had guide Giuseppe and driver Biagio - the best couple for your trip, beautiful visit in Pompeii, delicious lunch under Vesuiv and then beutiful views to Vesuiv. We really enjoyed it and with these guys was really big fun!

Highly Recommend! - Very good excursion! We were picked up at the cruise terminal which was great. It was a little difficult to find guide, but we asked other tour guides who knew where we should go. The bus was comfortable. The guide at Pompeii was really good and entertaining. The lunch was really good and even included beer. The three course meal was great, we really liked the pizza and could've skipped the pasta. We had ample time at Mt. Vesuvius to make the climb and back down. The weather was perfect and it was a nice clear day. There are two different bars- one half way (2 Euro for glass of wine) and the other one right at the top (2.50 Euro for glass of wine). They also had some vendors selling different items at both of these locations, as well as at the base of Mt. V. It was really worth it. You can take your time and you'll be able to do it. Would also recommend a walking stick if you need assistance making it to the top and down. Proper shoes is recommended to hike the Mt.

An amazing site to visit - Very nice visit. Be advised that Pompeii is difficult to walk in with VERY irregular surfaces. Connie was an excellent, courteous, and attentive tour guide.

Highly recommend! - Arianna our guide for the day was bright, smiley & so welcoming, she made every single part of the day easy for us! Thank you Remigio for driving us to each stop, always with a smile. The archaeologist who guided us around Pompei was amazing, she really brought it to life! The meal at the restaurant was just ok, it felt a lot like a conveyer belt - but it did the job, and then onto Vesuvius which was an amazing experience! I would highly recommend a tour with Arianna she went above & beyond throughout!

Satisfied customers! - While I was nervous at first to book an excursion through Viator, it all worked out very well! We met our guide at the port which went seamlessly. The Vesuvius portion of our tour was cancelled due to a forest fire but we were refunded and given a tour of Naples after our Pompei tour. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable and gave us time for pictures and shopping. Lunch was also included… I was nervous about my 10 year old who is a finicky eater but we were all pleased with the simple pasta lunch. I would definitely recommend!

Excursion to Pompeii - Antonella is a very good animator and Pompeii is very beautiful to see. Very serious agency. Too bad we couldn't visit Vesuvius due to the forest fire.

Don’t pay to get driven around Naples traffic in a hot bus if Vesuvius is closed - CHECK first to see if Vesuvius is opened. If it is closed, CANCEL this tour! The price you’ll pay for a “panoramic drive” around Naples costs more than the drive to the Amalfi coast, and ours was in an un-air conditioned bus and the “panoramic” view overlooked what looked like a factory building we could have seen in Pennsylvania. They refunded us $20 for Vesuvius ticket but they should have cancelled the tour so our time wasn’t wasted. The company also continued to sell tickets to this tour even when the National Park was closed. This is so unethical so definitely do your own research first. Do yourself the favor. Pompeii was awesome and the guide in Pompeii was very knowledgeable! It’s a shame it should have ended on the high note ! Maybe we should have spent the rest of the time there !

VERY frustrating experience - booked a tour only to be turned away because they didn't have a record of our booking. - We booked this trip the night before the tour and the site said there were openings on this tour, allowed us to book it for six people, charged our credit card for $800+, but when we arrived for the tour, first, we weren't exactly sure how to find the group, and second, when we found them, they had no record of our booking and thus we were not able to go on the tour. The customer service rep was helpful in getting us a refund and got us booked onto a different tour that same day, but the second tour was even more confusing to locate. Your directions about meeting locations need some serious help, especially keeping in mind we were in new country for the first time and didn't speak the language. We did a LOT of wandering around and asking for help of people who did not speak English, typing stuff in Google Translate to show to them, and no one was able to help us figure out where to go because according to the address given, we were already there, but no one in the vicinity knew anything about the tour.
