Licensed guides will lead you through tales of legends, history, and the notorious hysteria of 1692 — the Salem Witch Trials. This walking tour of historic downtown Salem lasts approximately 75 minutes. Listen to captivating stories of Salem’s past and discover why it is one of America’s most cherished, historic, and haunted towns. The tour proceeds at a comfortable pace, regardless of weather conditions. Due to its popularity, reservations are highly recommended.
In October, guests are required to arrive early. Late arrivals, even by a minute, will not be accommodated under any circumstances. Guests unable to arrive early should refrain from booking this tour in October.

This is a leisurely outdoor walking tour of downtown Salem, so please dress appropriately. The tour is very popular, so reservations are highly recommended.

When you are checked in you will depart, possibly earlier than your ticket time. The last tour guide to leave will depart exactly on time. Guests who arrive late (even by just a minute) cannot be checked in. Please double-check with your group and make sure you have enough tickets, additional tickets CANNOT be purchased at check in. Share check in information with ALL members of your party as a late arrival cannot and will not be accepted, not be refunded, not be able to ‘catch-up’ and not be allowed to moved to a different tour slot.

Simply the best! - SEBASTIAN WAS SIMPLY AMAZING! The stories themselves were fantastic, interesting and creepily devastating, just what we were hoping for. The passion he brings to the history however was over the top, in the best ways. Its wonderful to feel like someone is giving you the best of the best , every second, when im sure it can get repetitive quickly. I am so grateful for this experience and highly recommened seeing Salem in the light of the moon with SNT.

If you’re visiting Salem and want a mix of spooky stories, rich history, and theatrical fun, this ghost tour is an absolute must – especially if you’re lucky enough to get Sebastian as your guide!
From the moment the tour began, Sebastian had the entire group captivated. His storytelling is incredible – dramatic, engaging, and just the right amount of eerie. He brings the haunted history of Salem to life with vivid detail and a touch of humor, making the experience both chilling and genuinely entertaining.
What really stood out was Sebastian’s deep knowledge of the city’s past – not just the well-known Witch Trials, but lesser-known hauntings, legends, and historical oddities. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it makes all the difference.
The tour itself was well-paced, with plenty of stops at atmospheric, photo-worthy locations. Whether you’re a skeptic or a true believer in the paranormal, you’ll walk away having learned something new – and maybe even feeling a little haunted yourself.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Salem – and if you can, request Sebastian. He made our night unforgettable!

Spooky & fun - Decided to book a ghost tour so we could experience Salem at night and so glad we did. Ellena was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She was hilarious, knowledgeable, and you can tell she enjoyed her job. Something I personally noticed, was that she was very considerate and patient with the elderly in her tour group. I’ve experience in many different tours that guides tend to keep going or don’t repeat themselves for those in the back and Ellena was very kind in this. I highly recommend this tour!

Take a tour and thank me later - If you're in Salem, do not miss the night tour with Bobby Kerrigan — he’s an absolute legend! From the first step, Bobby had us hooked with wild, fascinating pieces of history that made the past come alive in the coolest way. His energy was off the charts, and his sense of humor had us laughing even while we were surrounded by ghost stories and cobblestone streets. You could feel how much he loves this town, and that passion was contagious. Hands down, one of the most fun and unforgettable nights we’ve ever had — thank you, Bobby!! 👻

A Wicked Good Time with Bobby! - We joined the Night Tour with Bobby after a bit of a twisty path. Our original tour was sold out, and after passing by two other groups, we happened upon this one. The vibe felt right, and wow, we’re glad we went with it.
Bobby was clear, energetic, and hilarious. He set expectations from the start: lots of dad jokes (which he unapologetically delivered), a “25-mile hike” that was actually about 90 minutes, and a tour centered mostly on the Salem Witch Trials, with a few eerie extras sprinkled in. His humor, combined with his deep knowledge of Salem's history, made this experience not just entertaining but genuinely educational.
What set Bobby apart was his confidence and comfort in his style. He told bad jokes, and he told them well, owning every one of them. Unlike another tour we took earlier in the day, where the guide seemed frustrated by the audience, Bobby embraced it all and kept the energy high throughout.
The price felt fair, the walk was manageable, and the whole thing felt fun and relaxed. A final touch of brilliance: if you wanted his card at the end, you had to ask for it in a Boston accent. Brilliant.
If you’re booking with Salem’s Best Ghost Tour, ask for Bobby. You won’t regret it.

April gave us a 5 star tour - We went on the tour this evening with our nine-year-old on our first trip to Salem. April was AWESOME!!! Her knowledge of the history of Salem made it so much more than just a ghost tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and her enthusiasm!

Salem Night Tour a Must for Us Whenever We Go - This was our second time taking the Night Tour in Salem. We enjoyed it so much last time with Bobby that we decided upon our return to the New England town, to do it again to close out our great time there and we were not disappointed. The history in this small town is amazing and we learn new things every time we go and every time we go on the tour. Our guide this time was April. She was funny and fascinating. If you go to Salem Mass, make it a point to do this tour, Bobby, April, or whomever your guide is, you'll look at and appreciate the town even more after you do!
