Gather at 18 Broad St. in Salem. Every guide is a certified teacher with a Master’s degree in education. This entirely outdoor tour blends authentic stories from Salem’s history with some gentle spooky tales suitable for children aged 6 and up. The goal is not to frighten the children, but to offer a slight thrill and a touch of mystery. The tour takes a scenic route close to downtown, slightly off the main path, giving a sense of stepping back in time. It concludes at the Witch House.
