This tour offers a fantastic opportunity to explore Salem’s rich history without extensive walking. Led by Daniel Fury, a local expert on colonial cemeteries and author of “If These Stones Could Speak: The History and People of the Old Salem Burying Point,” the tour provides well-researched information. Participants are encouraged to ask questions throughout the experience.

• The cemetery is wheelchair accessible, however the terrain is gravel and may prove difficult for some scooters. We recommend contacting the Charter Street Cemetery Welcome Center with questions about accessibility.
