- Borj Al Askar - Burj al-Askar (also known as Taqah Fort) is a historic 19th-century watchtower situated on an elevated position above the coastal town of Taqah in the Dhofar Governorate, Oman. It was originally used for coastal defense and to house the soldiers who served the governor (Wali) residing at the nearby Taqah Castle.
- Taqah View Point - Taqah Cliff is a high, dramatic rocky viewpoint rising at the far end of Taqah Beach. From the top, visitors can enjoy expansive panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, the coastline, Taqah City, and even the distant edges of Salalah. It’s an excellent location for photography and capturing the natural beauty of Dhofar.
Please note that the cliff edge is very steep, so visitors should maintain a safe distance from the edge while enjoying the scenery.
