A museum full of history, told differently - Any approach to misfortunes as colossal as World War II risks the desolate or the strictly academic. This museum is neither. The story is told in detail, but without resorting to two hundred thousand labels to explain the different types of hand grenades there were or the fifty parts of them. The story is told gradually, appealing to the curiosity of the viewer to know. In fact, it was short for me and I am passionate about this conflict. Oh, great.

A rewarding visit - Very interesting museum. Visit made with teen and kids, they loved it. I specify that they are children who love history 😉. Museum easy to access. We did not wait too long at the entrance.

Excellent museum (adult child) ⭐️‐️‐️‐️‐️ - Hello. If you ever go to Normandy for any reason .... You MUST make this museum. It's really amazing, beautiful, complete For both children and adults: There are several simpler to more complex approaches to history that will please everyone. Many very rare and impressive collector coins (including vehicles or aircraft) Very immersive, scenes reconstituted with models that plunges us into the heart of conflicts, it is so exciting to be immersed in history. A histopad will be provided for free with it is not mandatory but can reinforce immersion with especially 3D visuals that can be explored. The museum deals in particular with American paratroopers during the D.day but also with civilian life in the heart of the Village of Sainte-Mere-Eglise. Whether you are passionate about the landing or not, you will be amazed at this incredible museum. Allow at least two hours if you want to go fast (per person 3-4 hours if you take your time ) Thank you to everyone who works at the museum (super friendly team) but also to everyone who contributes to the memory of the heroes who fought for freedom. So make this museum, I guarantee you will not be disappointed (unless of course you arrive only an hour before closing) Have a nice visit

Airborne Museum really top - A little speed for the visit, we were nevertheless able to do the 5 museums. Very focused on the events of Holy Mother the Church (normal) we were able to discover the whole history of this small village during the occupation, until its liberation with an interactive tablet, immersion even nicer. Big part about American paratroopers and great scenography and finally museum 5 more oriented Indochina. Despite visit still accelerated , very well and to do for those who do not know

The plane was very special - A lot has happened from the air which is certainly interesting, even though my interest is in other parts of the war. Nice to have seen, just a lot of the same
