Fabulous tour - Having a tour guide really relieved the Stress on having to drive from Paris to Normandy, and to make the return. We went in November. There weren’t a lot of people requesting Normandy tours as a result we got a private tour with Steve. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of events that took place in Normandy during World War 2. We saw so much in one day it was incredible. Also, we also had a fantastic lunch at a local restaurant.

A stop for lunch near Pointe du Hoc provides a moment to recharge before continuing to the Normandy American Cemetery. Here, the lowering of the flag and the playing of taps create a poignant atmosphere, honoring the memory of those who gave their lives for liberty.

Poignant DDAY experience - Matt from Ophorus took our Aussie family on the day trip to D-DAY sites, including the Omaha and Utah landing beaches, U.S. cemetery, the Pointe du Hoc site, and historic Sainte-Mère-Eglise village.
