Dakar to Saint Louis
Saint-Louis - Clients are picked up in a private, air-conditioned car. The standard pick-up time is 8:00 am, but if a later departure is preferred, please inform us. The drive from Dakar to Saint Louis takes approximately 5 hours, including restroom breaks and interesting stops along the way. Upon arrival in Saint Louis, enjoy lunch and then check into your hotel, the Diamarek Hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure until the following day. Dinner is included at the hotel.
Saint Louis to Lompoul Desert
Lompoul Desert - Breakfast is included at the hotel. After breakfast, depart at 10:00 am for a city tour of Saint Louis with a local guide by carriage. This tour covers all the significant sites and attractions around Saint Louis city, including the north and south islands, and lasts about 2 to 3 hours. After the tour, enjoy lunch before departing for the Lompoul Desert, which is a 1.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, check into your camp and enjoy free time until 6 pm, when a camel ride is scheduled. Watch the sunset and enjoy dinner under the desert night sky. Dinner is included at the camp.
Saint Louis to Touba Great Mosque, Return to Dakar or Airport Drop-off
Touba - After breakfast, depart for the Touba Great Mosque, which is a 2-hour drive. The visit lasts 1 hour with a local guide, and photography is allowed. After the visit, drive back to Dakar or Saly for an airport drop-off. If other arrangements are needed, please let us know. Thank you for booking with us.
