Incredible - such a memorable experience. - It was described as “moderate difficulty” which was accurate. The Guide (John) was amazing, so knowledgeable and wise. We absolutely loved the hike, it was a highlight of our year, never mind the 1 week holiday!

Top notch tour company in St.Vincent - This company was top notch in service. The transportation was on time, the driver did a great job of navigating the at times tricky Vinci roads, and the guides were great. We had Kevin who was very knowledgeable about the island and the local flora and fauna. I was not able to finish the hike (it’s very steep at the end! ) but the guide made clear the group would only go as fast as the slowest hiker which I appreciated. The snacks and drinks provided were great and everyone was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Highly recommend this tour company!

Great experience! - Kevin was an excellent driver and had lots of good information to share about St. Vincent. We even stopped at a local beach, which meant parking in a locals backyard. Our hiking guide was John. He did this hike 140 times last year and was a wealth of information about the plants and volcanoes. Overall, a difficult hike for the average person, but very worth it!

A breathtaking hike. - After setting out on a picturesque coach ride to the start of the hike , I encountered a beautiful and lush trail as I trekked to the summit of the volcano. Our guide on the day was very knowledgeable and provided the group with a wide history of all that transpired in and around the volcano over the years. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in doing the hike and I would return as well. 10/10.

A must-see on St Vincent - Amazing to see this volcano. Nice hiking and very nice guiding. However, the driver drove very fast on the way there but it seems to be so after several other taxi trips.

Must do in St. Vincent! With these guys! - Top notch experience from TopDawg Tours! Great communication, first off. Communicated directly via WhatsApp, answered questions promptly. Driver, Kevin, was on time, courteous, informative, super cool guy. The drive from the resort to La Soufriere is part of the adventure! From the Sandals resort, its close to 2 hrs, taking you thru various parts of the island, which is interesting with amazing views. Once at La Soufriere, our guide, Thomas, was great. Gave us good information about the volcano, plants, history of the island. We had a lady with us that needed to stop a bit more, and he accommodated with no issue. Held her hand walking her down a slippery part as well. Its a full day experience (8 to 5pm), but completely worth it if coming to St. Vincent. Was really the highlight of my trip.

Great trip! - Great tour with TopDawg team. Was picked up by driver, there were few other folks in the van, and your guide was part of tour also. The hike itself was fascinating learning about the eruptions, lava flow, the green nature and the crater where the last eruption occurred. It does get windy and bit cool at the top so a light rain jacket recommended .

Amazing hike - but needs time! - I had a great day out, climbing this amazing volcano. We were only three people in the group (plus guide), which was very enjoyable. The walk through the forest is very beautiful, and our guide Tall Man knew a lot about the different plants and their uses, and the history of the volcano. We started of early in the morning (7:45), and did not get back to the ferry until 17:00 - without a lunch break. This was for two reasons: Firstly, we started up slowly (stopping to pick up food, fill up petrol, pick up guests, and even at the trail start, guests took time to get ready). Secondly, we took quite a long time to climb up the volcano and return, due to the limited fitness of some people in the group (and it sure is very tiring to climb up in the heat - we all sweated a lot!). If you are limited in time, you need to let the organisers know up front, so that they can manage time. Because we took so long, there was no time for lunch. We got some fruit from the driver, but I would recommend bringing some food with you, in case there is no time for a proper lunch break. This hike is definetely not suitable for people in flip flops or people not used to hiking in a hot climate. Top Dawg say that in the tour information, but of course there is no way for them to check whether people are fit enough to do the hike in a reasonable time. The drive from Kingstown to the starting point took us along the windward coastal road, which is very busy, but interesting. Because we took so long, we had to rush back for me and another guest to catch the last ferry to Bequia, and so we had no time to stop anywhere on the way. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable - just driving a bit too fast for my taste. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone interested in climbing the volcano - it's very good value for money and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

La Soufriere volcano hike - We were all presented with a walking stick before the hike. The hike up La Soufriere volcano with our guide and driver was good, we even passed Lava man on the way! The weather was a bit damp, which unfortunately impinged on views into the crater. Every so often we were able to see in and view the lake due to the wind, which was remarkably blustery on the ridge. After snacks a plenty, we all made our way back down and celebrated with some rum punch.
