Saint Catherine - The meeting point is Lebanon Square in Cairo, where a comfortable minibus will transport participants directly to Saint Catherine. The journey typically lasts around 6–7 hours.
Upon reaching the city gates of Saint Catherine, there will be a security checkpoint. A private vehicle will then take guests to their Bedouin camp or guesthouse. After checking in, there will be time to relax, enjoy the scenic mountain views, and have breakfast (not included).
Later, the group will explore the city of Saint Catherine, visiting local homes, schools, shops, and restaurants. Lunch can be enjoyed at a local restaurant (not included). Afterward, it’s back to the camp to unwind and prepare for the evening, with dinner provided (included).
In the evening, everyone will gather around a warm campfire, savor tea with local Bedouins, and enjoy the tranquil desert ambiance.
St. Catherine - Cairo
Saint Catherine - At approximately 12:00 AM, the journey to Mount Moses begins. The hike, led by a local Bedouin guide, starts around 12:30 AM and takes about 4–5 hours to reach the summit. At the peak, participants will experience a stunning sunrise from Egypt’s second-highest mountain. There will be time to rest, enjoy tea, and explore the small mosque, the Greek Orthodox chapel, and Moses’ cave.
After descending, the group will visit the historic St. Catherine’s Monastery, exploring its ancient art, serene courtyards, and sacred well.
A private car will then provide a brief city tour, including visits to the Golden Calf site and the Shrine of Prophet Aaron.
Finally, guests will return to the camp for breakfast and some relaxation before heading back to Cairo.
