⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience & the best driver! - The entire experience was incredible from start to finish. Our driver, Devari, truly made the day special. He was super sweet, such a vibe, and made us feel comfortable and taken care of the whole time. He stopped wherever we asked or needed to go between each excursion, never rushed us, and was always happy to help. The excursions themselves were SO much fun, and Devari guided us to each tour guide with total ease. Everything was seamless and stress-free, we never had to worry about where to go or what was next. He was friendly, professional, patient, and clearly knew the area very well. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and having Devari as our driver made it even better. I highly recommend booking this excursion if you want a smooth, fun, and enjoyable day. Would 100% do this again!

Wonderful, safe riding tour and bamboo rafting - A wonderful memory and thank you to the whole team. From the driver who took the time to stop, in several shops, to explain the history of the various places by driving us to our horse riding and rafting tour. Rendered to the turn for horseback riding a wonderful team met us, gave us a small course on the handling of the horse which are very quiet. Then a hike in a small forest, then on the sand by the sea, then in the sea where you desire, whether on the edge or deeper. The way you feel comfortable and always very well escorted. Then we went back to the rafting tour not very far, where we met the famous Captain Flowers with his raft, which he decorated all along with flowers, very safe, he took pictures of us and singing and was very happy wondering if we were comfortable, at the end there is a small bar we stop, we can take pictures, have a drink and chat with people, if you do not have your camera, a young Jamaican girl on site, can take pictures of you either at the beginning or the end of the rafting tour. We felt well surrounded and safe throughout this wonderful tour, a team that we see benignly experimenting and especially concerned about your safety that ensures that you are comfortable asking for it several times. Very important especially for people like us (69 and 75 years old), children and those who have no real notion of horseback riding. To all this wonderful and joyful team, Big Bravos and Thank you from Quebec, Canada. Wonderful memories and we highly recommend this adventure and history excursion on Jamaica.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Excursion, But Skip the Shop - My boyfriend and I did the rafting and horseback riding in Ocho Rios and oh my, it was amazing! The rafting was peaceful and beautiful, and the horseback riding was such a fun and memorable experience. The guides were friendly, professional, and made us feel very comfortable. Riding the horses into the water was definitely a highlight! One tip: skip the souvenir/liquor/coffee shop on-site. The prices are almost triple what you’ll find at the port. They claim it’s a discount, but it’s really not. I recommend shopping at the port or somewhere else for much better prices. Overall, the excursion itself was fantastic and highly recommended!

Yeah Man! One Love! - The pick up from the port to our drop off was amazing. Richy Rich Never Switch was phenominal. He was very personable and accommodating. We asked to do some shopping outside of the "touristy" area and he took us to a few places. We needed to stop for medication and he took us. The horseback riding in the ocean was so much fun. Our guide took so many pictures/videos for us and he made me feel safe on a horse. The bamboo rafting was neat, despite the rain. My fiance even got to navigate the raft. I would definitely recommend this tour!

3/5 experience - Horseback riding was amazing and our tour guides were cool. However, the bamboo rafting was not professional nor “aesthetically pleasing”. The place that we went looked like a hangout spot where it felt like they were pressuring us to spend our money. Expected a better experience for the price that we paid.

Good but way too short - Your driver was great, super friendly! The horseback riding was short, expect just a photo op. The rafting was fun but also pretty short 😬

Unfortunately not worth the money - We booked the tour via Viator because of the good reviews. It was realized by Courtney Taylor Tours. Unfortunately it was not worth the high price of almost 150 USD per person. The driver picked us up at the RIU Ocho Rios and was on point. The first destination was the Horse Riding activity located at "St Ann's Bay Horse Back Riding Association". It took us about 15 minutes to get there. There was another guy in the car who also booked the horse riding, but the ATV instead of the bamboo rafting as a second activity. The horses were located close to the main road at a shady area. They seemed to be in a bad condition or at least too thin. Everybody got his own guide and we needn't wear helmets for the ride. We were guided all the time and took a muddy path to the main road and afterwards to the beach. Unfortunately it was nothing similar to the ones from the beach hotels. It was a polluted place with a lot of trash thrown away by the locals who lived nearby. The water was muddy too.  Credit goes to the guides. They were friendly and ambitious, tried to make the best out of it. They took a lot of photos (with our smartphones and cameras) and my wife was also allowed to ride faster for shorter distances on the beach. As a beginner, I was okay with trotting. We also went into the shallow water while sitting on the horses. The whole riding experience was about 30 minutes. The driver was waiting at the starting point the whole time and we could leave our bags in the car.  To sum it up: + striving guides who tried their best  - bad horse condition  - dirty beach  - short duration  - almost no free riding without guidance  After tipping our guides we proceeded to the rafting. Located at White River, it would normally take roughly 30 minutes to got there. We got bad luck, because a cruise line was anchoring in Ocho Rios so we got stuck into traffic and needed way more time. The Bamboo rafting starting point was located at a place with many local people. The driver dropped us there and proceeded to the ATV point while a new rafting guide took care of us. We had to walk across some parked rafts to get to the one we actually needed to board. Better be prepared to get your shoes wet.  The rafts themselves were looking pretty cool and we also got a Bluetooth speaker on it. The guide took us like some 100 metres up the river and also took some pictures of us. It seemed to be a very exhausting task to maneuver the big rafts up the river as a single person while dodging other incoming rafts. While going to the designated area at the "end" of the river, there were several guys yelling at us, trying to sell drinks and stuff from the side of the river.  More or less 5-10 minutes later we arrived at the drop-off point, a small area with several huts and sellers. They talked to us in a very demanding, somehow bothersome manner. We were the only tourists there at that time, so we couldn't really escape. You also get the chance to buy a mud leg treatment or to swing with a tire into the river. After we made clear that we were not interested in spending any money there, our guide took us back to the starting point. Since it was much easier and faster down the river, it took us maybe 5 minutes. The whole rafting was max. 15 minutes. Short summary of the rafting: + Nice bamboo rafts + Friendly guide - very short duration  - bothersome sellers - uncomfortable waiting area - loud and unrelaxing experience To be honest, we booked the Bamboo rafting to have a nice and relaxing time in a beautiful river landscape, but we were totally disappointed. I mean, we booked a bamboo rafting for a lot of money and all wet got was a short raft to a place where annoying people tried to sell us extra stuff.. Because it was such a short experience, the driver who took the other guide to the ATV activity wasn't back when we returned. Standing there as the only two tourists in that local area, it felt kind of uncomfortable. After waiting for some minutes he returned and took us back to our hotel. When he asked us how our day was, we couldn't resist to tell him that the trip was not really what we expected. Both activities could have been done within 2 hours of time including the transfer. But not only the short duration, also the activities themselves were realized with kind of low effort in questionable areas. Paying 300 USD for 2-3 hours total activity time (+ additional tip for the driver, the horse riding guides and the bamboo rafting guide) really felt like a rip-off. He couldn't really understand, but trying to explain ourselves in an as kind as possible way still led the conversation into an uncomfortable direction, so we agreed that we maybe weren't the right "audience" for the activities. We booked tours at the hotel who were much better, much longer, cheaper and also much more exciting not only in Jamaica, but also in various other countries.  Since we are from Europe, our expectations may differ from the one of Americans, but we still can't believe that tourists would recommend that trip on Viator. We wouldn't do it again.

Misleading booking - We booked and paid for four people specifically to receive a private driver for just my wife and me. That was the only reason we purchased four seats instead of two. What arrived was not a private car or private driver, but a mini-bus full of other tourists with the operator making multiple stops for everyone on board. It was a standard group tour, not a private experience. When I contacted the company to explain the issue, instead of offering a refund or acknowledging the mistake, I was told they “don’t do private drivers” and was given a vague warning about posting a negative review. So to be clear: • We were charged for four people • We received a group tour • We were not given what was sold • And we were discouraged from being honest about it If you are booking this company expecting a private experience, do not. If you are okay with a shared bus tour, then just book two seats and save your money. I’m posting this so other travelers can make an informed decision.
