The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.

Smooth Daytrip to Luxor from Soma Bay - First of all thanks to the Team Nubian, Assem and Karim.
We really enjoyed the tour and i highly recommend to go with them. Once in a lifetime this Egyptian Adventure is a mustsee.
Booking was easy. The Car including the drivers arrived on time at the Hotel. The ride was without any issues and we didnt have any safety concerns. Assem and Karim split up the driving and Nubi our Guide did well in showing us the most important Spots at Karnak, valley of Kings, Hachepsuts Temple and Memnon Colossi. He was sharp and delivered the important details.
Be ready for a long day. Wintermonth prepare also for cold mornings.

Perfect private trip to Luxor - The pick-up was on time, perfect. it was 05.00 in the morning. He picked us up at Safaga, where our hotel was. So we didn’t have to go to Soma Bay first :-) The driver came to us and give us a warm welcome. He explained what the plan was, it gives us a save feeling. We were with me as mother and my daughter of 13 years old. The driver speaks English and tried to speaks it well.
The bus was comfortable and after 3 hours (from Safaga to Luxor) we were at the spot our guide of the day came in. He was Egyptian and spoke our language (Dutch) pretty well! We were happy surprised. He told us everything about the Egypt authenticity. He knows everything very well. He took enough time, we could have a break, there was enough cold water. He asked if we would like to go with a horse and carriage through the city of old Luxor and make a trip with a motor along the Nile. It was an option for $20,- per activity per person extra. The carriage with the horse was worth value, the boat wasn’t that special. Next time we would skip that.
The guide was very friendly, he helped us to buy some souvenirs. Good to know that you can pay with cash euro’s in Egypt.
The 3 hour trip back with the car was comfortable. There was airco the whole day. We saw soms wild camals at the side of the highway. The driver stopped for us so we could take a picture. We had two drivers. Because of the long day they took turns driving. We were back at the hotel at 07.30

Overall great experience! - Driver Ahmed was fantastic, optimised the tour for minimum queuing. Personally I would have skipped the alabaster show.

Great tour & guide - We really enjoyed this tour. Ahmed was a great guide who had a lot of knowledge to share while also letting us walk and discover each of the monuments. Additionally the local lunch was amazing.
We would definitely recommend doing 2 days instead of 1 if you can, but we got the opportunity to make the most out of this day thanks to the tour !

Exciting tour to Luxor - Hoda showed us the best sides of all the important sights in Luxor in a short time. We were immediately impressed by her upbeat and funny manner.
She is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions courteously. The local lunch she organized in the old center of Luxor was excellent. The short trip on the Nile was an excellent idea from Hoda. We will definitely come back to Luxor and are already looking forward to going on another tour of the ancient sites of Luxor with Hoda.

A Day we'll Never Forget - Collected from our hotel in Soma Bay at 5:30 as arranged. Mohammed was our driver, we called him Lewis Hamilton as he was fast but we never felt unsafe. He got us there quickly and was always waiting when it was time to move on. Our guide was Mansour (Mannie) whose English was excellent and his enthusiasm great. We asked many questions and he knew the answers, explaining things clearly and obviously loved that we wanted to know more of his culture.
Karnak was amazing, Valley of the Kings mind blowing! We paid extra to visit Seti I's tomb- very expensive but we were the only ones in it and it was beautiful.
Food (included) was delicious, much better than I expected.
Back to the hotel for 7:30, a day to remember, and what a great price!
Remember to take plenty of money (we took USD) for tips

Top organizer - We had booked a 1 day trip from Soma Bay to Luxor. When preparing, I decided to make it a 2-day trip and book the hotel myself. After I didn't get an answer for a day, the email came that summarized everything the way I wanted it. We were picked up from the hotel on time with driver and guide Ahmet, who told us a lot about the local conditions and history. In Luxor itself the guide changed and we got a fluent German speaking guide Ahmed Mostafa, who was really great. We were looked after around the clock and really felt like we were in good hands. On the second day we went for lunch at our own expense, which I can only recommend, the restaurant Ahmed chose was wonderful. Yes, we were also driven to the papyr and stonemason sales exhibitions, but at least the second time Ahmed offered us to skip it. We had two great days in Luxor and can only recommend this organizer!

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE TO HAVE - An incredible experience! The air-conditioned van and the driver were really kind, helpful and attentive. Everything right on time, the van comes to look for you in front of the hotel reception. The day is very well organised, I thank the Guide Ahmed and the manager Ahmed for communication, he is available for any need or question.
I really recommend it!!
Thanks again for this day full of emotions, I absolutely did not regret having visited this incredible place ❤️

What a day! - What an experience, we had to delay our trip as was poorly but Nada from the company was really kind and rearranged the day we went. She was wonderful throughout.
We were picked up at 5.30am, bang on time. The driver collected the other driver in the way. Both were super, really friendly and courteous, no hassle at all. After a long drive where we had a rest break on the way we met with our guide who was wonderful through the day. Very knowledgeable about ancient Egypt and courteous throughout.
Karnak Temple, well we could have stayed there all day really. I'm still processing what we saw.
We had booked a sailboat trip but the wind was too high, our guide negotiated a river crossing to banana island instead which was a beautiful experience.
We went to lunch in a restaurant, all absolutely fine, just pay for drinks.
Then we headed to Valley of the Kings. That was some experience, another massive part of the memorable day that will live in the memory.
How the tombs were built was mind boggling, our guide told us how long each took and what the workers did. Mind blowing.
The last part of the tour was to Hatshepsut Temple. The stories our guide told us, especially about her son was incredible.
Heading back, we ended up in an alabaster factory, the least enjoyable part. Promised no hard sell, it was really awkward, being given lovely drinks then the sales pitch. I did not like being put in that difficult position to accept hospitality then feel pressured to buy something.
We dropped our guide off then headed back for the long drive to our hotel.
What a day.
I am so grateful to Nada of Marsa Alam tours for helping us and keeping us informed throughout. Our drivers and guide were excellent and I cannot praise or thank them enough for making this day one that I will never forget.
