#Meeting Location: Please meet your tour guide outside of Hawks Provisions at 1525 Alhambra Blvd. in Sacramento, CA (95816). Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the tour start time. Your guide will be waiting for you outside of Provisions 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour. #Parking: Complimentary parking is available in Sutter Medical Plaza; entrance on Stockton Blvd. Provisions is located on the North West corner of the parking lot.

Just do it! You won't regret. - The tour was awesome, Dawnie was awesome, and the food was too! We had such a fun time trying all the food and seeing all the sights. My favorite part was when I said I had never tasted Persimmon and Dawnie said hold that thought. Later on, she took us to her coop and asked if we could try one. It was a wonderful morning spent with wonderful people! Thank you so much.

Great Tour and Delicious Food - A small group of us planned to go on this tour together, and I am really glad we did! Dawnie was a knowledgeable guide, going out of her way to make sure we had an amazing experience. There were 4 different stops to try food, and we got to try a variety of different dishes she had selected - all were top notch. Dawnie shared history about the area, along with sharing stories and recommendations for the local food scene. This tour was definitely a great value, and unique way to learn about the area - definitely recommend!

See a Neighborhood...Enjoy a Walk...Enjoy the Local Food - There is no better way to get a feel for a city than a food walking tour and this tour was no exception. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and an absolute joy to spend time with. It was fun to see a neighborhood of a local city and one with whichI was not familiar. I highly recommend all the Local Roots Food Tours.

Amazing food tour - Dawnie was a great host .She took us to some amazing eateries , with a great variety of food and drink offerings .The portions were very generous and the tour itself was informative and fun . Dawnie was very passionate and knowledgeable and we had a thoroughly enjoyable tour .

Highly Recommend!! - Our work team enjoyed a tour with Dawnie as a team building time. It was AMAZING. The food was great, the history we learned was interesting. We had a lot of fun spending the afternoon tasting yummy food, learning the history of the area and viewing local murals along the way. I lived in the Sacramento area my entire life and never new this existed. I wish I had know sooner! I am telling all my friends and family to go and enjoy a tour. You will have a great time.

Super Tour - Dawnie was great. She tolerated our late arrival (blame Apple) and showed us around her neighborhood. She was gracious and informative. The food selections were so tasty and we (including the Sacramento. resident) learned a lot about the area. It was such a fun experience.
