A Warm Welcome to Coffee Paradise

As a biologist and environmental activist, my travels often take me to the heart of nature, where I can immerse myself in the wonders of the natural world. This time, my journey led me to the lush landscapes of Sabaneta, just a short drive from Medellín, Colombia. Known for its rich coffee culture, I was eager to experience the Private Coffee Tour and learn about the journey from bean to cup.

Upon arrival at the family-owned coffee farm, I was greeted with open arms by the warm and welcoming family, along with a delightful entourage of dogs and chicks. The farm, nestled amidst the verdant hills, was a haven of tranquility and natural beauty. The air was filled with the invigorating aroma of coffee, and I could feel the excitement building as I prepared to embark on this caffeinated adventure.

Our guide, Yuly, was a fountain of knowledge, not just about coffee but about the local flora and fauna as well. Becoming a Coffee Grower for a Day

Dressed in traditional coffee grower attire, I felt a sense of connection to the land and its people as we ventured up the mountain to pick coffee cherries. The climb was invigorating, and the view from the edge of the estate was nothing short of breathtaking.
