Departing from the town, the path leads into the serene Y Linh Ho village, where terraced fields resemble giant fingerprints crafted by generations of farmers. A narrow trail beneath the tree canopy guides travelers deeper into a setting that is both rustic and in harmony with the mountains and forests. In addition to the stunning landscapes, the guide shares stories that offer a deeper connection to the culture and lifestyle of the local people, providing insights into the ethnic communities’ traditions.
Lao Chai Trail - As the journey continues, a tranquil Hmong village gradually emerges, encircled by terraced fields cascading down the mountainside. Here, the daily rhythm of local families is evident, from their everyday activities to their simple yet culturally rich lifestyle. This is Lao Chai village, and by the time the group arrives, the sun is high, around noon. Lunch is enjoyed at a modest local restaurant by the stream, where the sound of flowing water complements the natural scenery, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
Hau Thao - The journey proceeds along the Muong Hoa valley, crossing fields and gentle streams to reach Thao Hong Den. Upon arrival, the host family warmly welcomes guests to stay overnight and savor simple yet flavorful mountain dishes prepared by the family. The first day concludes gently, leaving guests with a deeper understanding of the land, culture, and people.
Thao Hong Den - Su Pan - Giang Ta Chai - waterfall - Sapa
Su Pan - 8:30 – After breakfast, the group departs the hamlet, following a small trail to Su Pan village. Along the route, upland fields tended by farmers season after season are visible. During planting time, the landscape is adorned with green plots of corn and young rice, adding a fresh hue to the hillside.
Giang Ta Chai Village - 1:00 – In the afternoon, the journey continues to the village’s hydropower lake, followed by a walk to a waterfall. Here, guests can swim, relax with a cup of coffee, and enjoy the sound of flowing water. This location is Giang Ta Chai village, the final stop of the tour. A car will transport guests back to Sapa, concluding the two-day tour filled with local cuisine, breathtaking landscapes, and the rich culture of the local people, creating unforgettable memories.
