Sapa – Fansipan Mountain by Cable Car (L)

Sapa - Arrive in Sapa in the early afternoon, check into your hotel, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Fansipan Mountain - At 2:00 pm, travel from Sa Pa to Fansipan, the tallest peak in the Indochina mountains. While it typically takes one or two days to hike to the summit, you will take the modern three-rope cable car system, reaching the top in just 15-20 minutes. This cable car, the first of its kind in Asia, spans 6.2 km from Muong Hoa Valley to the peak, with 35 cabins and 6 main pillars, each spaced 1 km apart.

From the summit, take in the breathtaking views of Sapa, Muong Hoa Valley, and Hoang Lien National Forest, as well as the beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province. Afterward, return to Sapa.

In the afternoon, explore Sapa town and its market at your leisure. Dinner is on your own.

Sa Pa – Trekking – Sa Seng – Hang Da – Hau Thao Best View – Sapa (L)

Hang Da Village - Begin your day trip from Sapa with a short drive to the walking path. Follow a small trail uphill for 2 hours to the Den Thang range. At the top, enjoy stunning views of Fansipan Peak and Muong Hoa Valley as you approach Hang Da Village, home to the Hmong people at 1,800m above sea level. Explore the village and enjoy a picnic lunch.

Hầu Thào Villa & Coffee - After a brief rest, continue walking to Hau Thao village, where you’ll witness the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley. Upon reaching Hau Thao Commune, discover the daily life and traditional customs of the Black Hmong minority. Continue trekking downhill to Giang Ta Chai village, where a car will transfer you back to your hotel in Sapa.

Visit Ta Phin Red Dao Village – Herbal Bath - SAPA

Ta Phin Village - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before traveling by car to Ta Phin, where you can meet the Red Dao people, known for their vibrant culture. Walk around Ta Phin village, home to both Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities, each maintaining their distinct cultural identities. Visit their homes and engage with the locals to learn about their differences. In the afternoon, indulge in a herbal bath. The Red Dao people prepare a bath by boiling fresh and dried plants and bark in a large wok over a charcoal fire. The water is then transferred to a wooden barrel tub for you to enjoy a traditional Dao bath, relieving aches, pains, and worries in a private bathhouse. Afterward, a private van will pick you up and return you to Sapa.
