Beautiful treking - We did the tour with the lovely Su who showed us the valley and told us about her people. The beautiful view of the rice paddies, the bamboo forest, and the night in the pleasant homestay, all unforgettable.

A great trek in Sapa area with a local family homestay. Great views and a fun guide (Nhu) who kept us well informed - A great couple of days’ trekking visiting some great sites, local villages, waterfalls, bamboo forests and more. We stayed with a lovely, hospitable local family and had the lovely, knowledgeable Nhu as our guide. She did a great job to provide lots of interesting background and context. She also kept us entertained with her great sense of humour. A great experience all in all and fully recommend it.

Excellent address and team - Tan and his team welcomed me very well. The hotel is very well located and comfortable rooms with excellent value for money. The breakfast included in the rental is very hearty. Tan offers a high-quality English or French-speaking guide who knows their region and its people perfectly well, with whom I have had the chance to discover the minorities of the North West. Tan also arranged my departure from Sapa to Cat Basel Island and Han La Bay (bus, hotel) and this free of charge. A big thank you, many good memories.

We love you Khu! - We had fun time traveling in the nature with our sweet guide Khu. I really recommend this activity if you like hiking. Keep in mind that you need to be physically fit as the road might be slippery. Tip: bring some little clothes that you may need in your small packback if your staying for 1 night, since its hard to get your bigger suitcase with you (they will keep it for you in their office in Sa Pa).

2 day Sapa hiking with local guide - Had a lovely 2 day hiking trip with our guide Thao nhu; we saw water buffalo, cows, chicken, ducks, rice fields, swam in a waterfall, walked through a bamboo forest, saw local villages and rice fields. Stunning views and lovely lunch. Lots of places to buy drinks and food on the way. The home stay was lovely as were the guests. Nhu was very knowledgeable, friendly and went the extra mile. Definitely bring good shoes as the hike was harder than expected in some places due to the ground. If you struggle I would opt for the easier option over the harder nature option. Be mindful of the local people who offer to help you down the mountain as they do expect you to buy things from them at the end and it can be quite overwhelming with each person who helped you wanting you to buy someone from them- as I struggled at a few points I had lots of people asking! Lovely trip overall and would recommend for anyone wanting authentic experience and stunning views.

Great couple of days with Thao nhu - Had a lovely two day trip with Thao nhu! She is a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and happy! She showed us the villages and was accommodating with the walks as we had to get back to our bus. The homestay we stay in was very nice, great view, big rooms and bed, lovely food. Be prepared with cash for the ladies who help you down the mountain. They will help you and then at the end pressure you to buy something. I got surrounded and ended up buying something I didn’t want.

2day trek with Nhu - I had a really nice 2day trek with Nhu. She is very friendly, enthousiastic and speaks English very well. She gladly answers your questions and gives you an idea of how the Vietnamese people live. I booked a group tour, so the first day we were 6 people, but I was the only one that booked 2 days, so I actuallty got a private tour de 2nd day. The room in the homestay was big and dinner was good. Be aware that the paths will be very slippery! We didn't get a cooking class and there is no real communication with the homestay as they don't speak Englisch. And as the first day is together with the 1day tour, the hike actually stops around 15h. Overall I really liked the trek and was very happy with Nhu as a guide.
