Visitors will explore their daily lives and learn about their traditional clothing, handicrafts, and indigo production. This valley offers the most stunning views of Vietnam’s golden rice terraces. After visiting Lao Chai, the journey continues to Ta Van village, inhabited by the Giay people, a small ethnic group in Vietnam known for their rich culture and picturesque homes nestled among rice paddies.
- Ta Van Village - Located about 8 km from Sapa town, Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages are home to the Black H’mong and Dzay communities. This area marks the beginning of Muong Hoa Valley. From an elevated point on the main road, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the villages, surrounded by towering mountains and facing the river. The fresh air, terraced fields, and streams provide a serene backdrop for discovering and visiting Black H’mong families.
