Sapa – Fansipan Mountain by Cable Car (L)
Fansipan Mountain - Arrive in Sapa in the early afternoon, check into the hotel, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. At 2:00 pm, travel from Sa Pa to Fansipan, the highest peak in the Indochina mountains. While it typically takes one or two days to hike to the summit, the modern three-rope cable car system will transport you from the base to the peak in just 15-20 minutes. This cable car is the first of its kind in Asia, spanning 6.2 km from Muong Hoa Valley to the summit, with 35 cabins and 6 main pillars, each spaced 1 km apart. From the top, enjoy breathtaking views of Sapa, Muong Hoa Valley, Hoang Lien National Forest, and the beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province. Afterward, return to Sapa. Dinner is at your own expense, and you will stay overnight in Sapa.
Sa Pa – Trekking – Sa Seng – Hang Da – Hau Thao Best View – Sapa (/L)
Hau Thao - Begin your day trip from Sapa with a short drive to the walking path. Follow a small trail uphill for 2 hours to the Den Thang range. At the top, enjoy spectacular views of Fansipan Peak and the stunning Muong Hoa Valley as you approach Hang Da Village, home to the Hmong people, situated at 1,800m above sea level. Explore the village and have a picnic lunch. After a brief rest, continue walking to Hau Thao village, where you will witness the breathtaking view of Muong Hoa Valley. Upon reaching Hau Thao Commune, discover the daily life and traditional customs of the Black Hmong minority. Continue trekking downhill to Giang Ta Chai village, where a car will transfer you back to your hotel in Sapa. Overnight in Sa Pa.
Visit Ta Phin Village – Herbal Bath – Bus Back to Hanoi (L)
Ta Phin Village - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before traveling by car to Ta Phin, where you will meet the colorful Red Dao people. Walk around Ta Phin village, home to the Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities, who maintain distinct cultural identities. Visit their homes and interact with the locals to learn about their differences. In the afternoon, indulge in a herbal bath. The Red Dao people prepare a bath by boiling fresh and dried plants and bark in a large wok over a charcoal fire, then transferring the water to a wooden barrel tub for a relaxing soak in a private bathhouse. Afterward, a private van will pick you up and transfer you back to Sapa to catch the bus to Hanoi. Tour concludes.
