The drive along the mountain road offers scenic views of the Muong Hoa valley, with its striking mountains, endless rice terraces, waterfalls, and hill tribe villages. The Red Dao women are known for wearing some of the most vibrant and varied costumes among Vietnam’s ethnic groups. They are highly skilled in herbal baths, local medicine, and embroidery. With a guide, visitors can explore the village and learn how locals create writing paper, jewelry, and embroidery. There is also an option to swim in the river before returning to Sapa town.
