Fansipan Peak - Ý Linh Hồ - Lao Chải - Tả Van
Fansipan - 6:30am: Meet at Lao Cai Station, followed by a one-hour shared minivan ride to Sapa.
7:30am: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Showers are available. If you have excess luggage, you can store it at the hotel and only take essentials to the homestay. You will return to the hotel on the final day to collect your luggage and have dinner before heading back to Hanoi.
08:30: Depart from your hotel for a short walk with your tour guide to Sunplaza to board the Muong Hoa Funicular, a 3 km journey alongside Muong Hoa Valley to the cable car station in O Quy Ho, lasting about 20 minutes. The cable car ride takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the next station at 3,000m ASL. Climb 639 stone steps from the station to the summit, which takes around 40 minutes, and celebrate reaching the 3,143m peak. On the return, descend by foot, then travel by cable car and funicular again.
12:00 - 13:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Ta Van - 14:30: Start your trekking adventure. Follow the main road south for about an hour before turning onto a footpath downhill to Muong Hoa Valley. This section offers breathtaking views of the highest part of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, and on a clear day, Fansipan Peak is visible. Cross the river via a suspension bridge and trek uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Visit some H’mong families and observe their daily activities. Continue to Lao Chai, a large H’mong village, then follow the riverbank to Ta Van, home to the Zay people.

Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Hau Thao - Sapa - Overnight Train to Hanoi (B,L,D)
Giang Ta Chai Village - 7:00am: Breakfast at the homestay.
9:00am: Begin the tour. Hike uphill, passing stunning terraced rice fields and small H’mong hamlets, then through a bamboo forest to a waterfall. Take a break to admire the scenery, then continue walking for half an hour to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao people, located on a hill overlooking the Muong Hoa River. Spend time visiting the village, making friends with the Zao, and experiencing their hospitality. Cross the river via another suspension bridge, then trek uphill to Hau Thao village, where you will visit a local handicraft center where H’mong and Zao women exchange skills and experiences in making handicrafts.
5:30pm: The guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to Lao Cai Station.
Enjoy dinner at a restaurant near Lao Cai Station.
Overnight train to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at 5:30am and return to your hotel independently.
