The hike commences through lush rainforests and bamboo zones, gradually leading to steeper and more rugged volcanic slopes. Be prepared for muddy and slippery sections, dense vegetation, occasional stinging nettles, and cooler temperatures as you ascend. The final stretch is the most challenging but also the most rewarding. Upon reaching the summit of the volcano, you will be greeted with breathtaking views of a stunning emerald-green crater lake, often enveloped in mist, creating a dramatic and unforgettable scene.
After enjoying the summit, the descent back to the trailhead begins.
