Alishan (Tourguide: Ben) - Ben was amazing!
Picked us up in a Benz, very clean car, water provided, comfortable neck pillows. His driving was good (and there was A LOT of driving from Taichung to Alishan), and he always had good recommendations along the way. Appreciated that he took several photos for us, and had a few good car playlists too.
Enjoyable time, thanks to Ben!
Alishan was gorgeous, nice escape from the city heat and worth the drive.

A Beautiful Experience! - My husband and I had the best time on our tour to Alishan from Taichung! Our guide, Terence, was so knowledgeable and made the experience so special. He is also a very talented photographer, so you will leave with the most beautiful photos! Terence had great recommendations for food along the way, and he walks you through Alishan as well which was very nice. He was able to provide stories and information along the way. All in, I think my favorite part was stopping at the tea farm at the end of the trip. It was such a beautiful and unique experience. I would highly recommend booking this tour!

A wonderful trip to Mount Ali. - Our guide, Mr Lin Jianting, was wonderful and brought us joy and laughter along the way. In addition to explaining in English, I know that I don't speak good English, and I often explain it to me in Chinese. Helped our small team take a lot of beautiful photos, our small team from different countries, led by Mr. Lin, we like friends who have known each other for a long time. I will miss this wonderful trip to Mount Ali from time to time.

No regrets - best day in Taiwan - Justin, the driver guide picked us up at 7.30h sharp. We travelled with two other couples in a very comfortable Mercedes bus to the Alishan park. Justin explained all along the way the highlights including temples, forests, tea farming, history and everything of interest. The whole trip was perfectly organized and it exceeded far our expectations. In addition Justin took some wonderful photos of us and the group. We returned to pur hotel at 7 p.m. and were full of impressions of this exceptional day. Could not have been better.

An Outstanding Tour Experience with Exceptional Guide - From start to finish, everything about the trip was exceptional, including the pre-trip information, transportation, and detailed explanations. Ample time was allotted for sightseeing and shopping. The guide, Alicia, was knowledgeable, cheerful, and highly professional. I highly recommend this tour!

The travel time is more... - The travel time is more and scenic and u see one temple, market and Forest as per itinerary. Places are beautiful but you get less time at Alishan.

The Alishan experience is good, but not informative and not a good tour information, nor a guide. - This trip we requested is to have a professional English translator with a flat price as a package, but it turns out the driver is the tour guide, not provide much information, nor in English. We have to pay 300 NT for park admission, train ticked and shuttle back to the parking lot, which were not described when we booked the trip.

Good, but not the greatest tour available. - Despite the tour having a good price for the distance travelled, it started with the bus arriving over an hour late for hotel pickup. The tour group was only small - 8 people. The driver was the tour guide, who provided little information of the surroundings, or even the history of where we were going. They basically drove us to the locations and told us to explore ourselves. The driving however was terrible! Speeding along the highways, and up and down the mountains - including speeding on each turn. This made many people onboard feel motion sickness, and the fear that we were either going to crash into another vehicle, or off the edge of the mountain.
Also note, this tour doesn't include a ticket into the Alishan National Park, or the train ticket from Alishan Station to the next station, or the bus ride back to Alishan Station.
The one kind thing the tour guide did, which I thought was great, was he took photos of the tour group members throughout the adventure, and sent them to us afterwards. Nice to be able to have photos that aren't selfies.

Betta Nut Chewing Driver was also the English speaking guide. Smashed up old Metris mini van, overloaded 8 hour trip - After several miles watching the driver / guide chew the Betta Nut and spit out red stuff into a cup while driving I realized the grim reality of what the day would be. More passengers were going to be picked up. The van was badly dented on the side the interior was dark, dirty and torn. I was expecting a guide that was fluent in English, professional and the vehicle to be in good physical condition. Traveling up curvy mountainous roads in such a small vehicle with so many people driven by that Betta Nut chewing would have been a horrendous experience for me. I had the driver stop the van and I found my way back to the hotel. I expected to get a refund for such a miserable experience. Only thing this tour operator cared about was getting your money. STAY AWAY From this one. I have never had to give such a terrible review in all of my travels.
