- Phnom Chisor - Tourists are picked up from their hotels in central Phnom Penh and travel south for about 2 hours to reach Phnom Chisor Temple, located approximately 65 kilometers from Phnom Penh. Phnom Chisor is a 133-meter-high mountain situated in Dok Por village, Rovieng commune, Samraong District, Takeo Province. This ancient Khmer temple, sometimes simply called Phnom Chisor, was constructed in the 11th century using laterite and bricks, with intricately carved sandstone lintels, by the Khmer Empire’s King Suryavarman I.
- Tonle Bati - Tonle Bati is a small lake featuring an ancient temple, located about 40 kilometers south of Phnom Penh. It takes about 1 hour to travel from Chisor Mountain to Tonle Bati. The temple is built in the same Bayon style as Angkor’s famous jungle temple. The area around Tonle Bati Lake is a popular countryside destination, attracting visitors who enjoy fishing, relaxing, and exploring the nearby ancient temples. Tonle Bati is home to the laterite temple of Ta Prohm, also constructed by King Jayavarman VII (who reigned from 1181 to 1201), on the site of a 6th-century Khmer shrine.
- Phnom Penh - The drive passes by Phnom Tamao Zoo, and there is an option to stop upon request at the Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre. This wildlife center, established in 1995, spans over 6,000 acres of protected regenerating forest and is the largest zoo in Cambodia.
