- Rovaniemi - Start your evening with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Rovaniemi, followed by a comfortable transfer in a modern heated vehicle to Arctic GM’s exclusive snowmobile base. This base is nestled in a serene forest area, away from the bustling tourist paths.
Upon arrival, you will be equipped with thermal overalls, helmets, and all the necessary gear. Your guide will provide clear safety instructions and demonstrate how to operate the snowmobiles before setting off.
Embark on a guided snowmobile adventure, enjoying approximately 2 hours of driving through snow-laden forests and expansive Arctic landscapes on private property. Snowmobiles are shared between two participants, allowing both to take turns driving.
During the journey, there will be stops at carefully chosen spots to appreciate the scenery, capture photos, and, when conditions are favorable, look out for the Northern Lights.
After returning to the base, enjoy warming up with hot drinks and light snacks before being transferred back to Rovaniemi.

Managed by The Original Aurora Hunters®, Arctic GM is a family-owned business with a rich history in Lapland dating back to the 1600s.
The adventure begins with a pickup and transfer to a private base. After receiving instructions, guests will embark on snowmobiles, shared between two people, with opportunities to switch drivers during the journey. The excursion includes approximately 2 hours of riding through forests and open terrains, far from urban lights.
There are stops to appreciate the scenery and observe the sky — if conditions are right, the Northern Lights might make an appearance. After the ride, guests can warm up with hot beverages and light snacks.
- Children at least 15 years old and at least 140 cm tall can sit behind a driver as passengers
- Children younger than 15 years travel in a sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile
- Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult
- Driver is liable for snowmobile damages, max self-liability 950€ per person per accident
- This tour is not available for children younger than 6 years old
- The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license (class B)
- The driver must be able to present the driving license and sign a liability waiver
- Each snowmobile fits two; solo riders must buy two tickets for their own ride
- Travel insurance and other emergencies are not included
