Best experience ever! - Our guide was Emin. He was so professional and we loved his energy for hunting Aurora! We were told there was 15% for seeing Aurora, but our guide made it possible. We could see amazing Aurora for few times. We moved a lot to find the best spot to see Aurora. This is a literally “Aurora hunting” and we loved it! This is one of our best experiences in our life. Thank you so much!!!

If they're out there they'll find them ... - We saw an amazing show of the Northern Lights thanks to our guides. They'll do whatever it takes to find the best conditions and locations to see the lights throughout the night, and then work to help you get the best photos. Obviously mother nature will decide what you see, but this team's dedication will help your chances.

Northern Light Explosion - Pickup was right on time and after checking the forecast, the guide, Emin took us near the Swedish border, where we were able to see an Aurora explosion, afterwards we went to lake and saw some of the lights as well including reflections. He really gives everything to make the Northern lights happen for you and takes amazing pictures.

Solo trip to see the Northen Lights - I stayed in Rovaniemi for just two nights during Easter break. I had a tour in program but it was cancelled for two nights in a row due to the weather not be promising enough to see anything. I had almost given up because it was Easter day and my last night. I had sent quite a lot of email to all the tour operators who were open and Lapintaivas Tour was the only one who got back at me (on Instagram). My guide, Emin, offered me a really nice option as a solo traveler: we talked in the afternoon as the weather was changing and at 20.00 he told me to be ready just in case. We left Rovaniemi at 22.00 more or less and we drove somewhere south in search for a dark clear sky. During the drive he told me why we see northen lights and he explained other nice stuff. While we were driving we started to see something so we stopped and it was almost like magic: the sky was light green at the beginning (it was not completely dark yet) and then after a while there was this incredibile explosion of lights. I know that pictures are better than eyes in this case, but we manage to actually see also some red! Emin was almost more excited than me. After this amazing view we tried to change place but probabily we had already used all of our luck (one of the things Emin told me was about how short nights are in April so we didn’t really had time). So we just drove back to my hostel and called it a night. It was a really incredible experience, once you really hope to do twice: Emin was really nice, super positive from the beginning and careful about everything. He took quite a lot of nice pictures and videos and he sent them to me right after. Thank you so much again!

Unforgettable Aurora Hunt – Thanks to Emin! - While visiting Rovaniemi, I was really hoping to see the Aurora Borealis just like that. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate — for three nights in a row, I had no luck and was honestly starting to lose hope. On my final night, all tour providers had cancelled the hunt... except one. Emin – my positively crazy and absolutely amazing host – called me at 9 a.m. out of the blue, after hearing my story from one of his colleagues, and offered to go Aurora hunting. And wow – what an adventure it turned out to be! Despite clouds and tough conditions, Emin was persistent and full of energy. He drove us to several remote locations, always scanning the sky with sharp eyes and good vibes. And thanks to him, we saw the magical Northern Lights dancing above us – just like in a dream. It was truly one of the best nights of our lives. Emin doesn’t give up – if there’s even a theoretical chance to see the Aurora, he’ll find it. His passion is unmatched. I swear, he’d drive you to Canada if needed. 😄 If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about your experience, I 100% recommend him. He won’t let you leave without an unforgettable memory. Greetings from Bosnia, and thank you for the magic, bro!

Chasing the Aurora with Chevo: An Unforgettable Experience - Our family just came from joining an aurora hunting adventure with Chevo, our guide/driver/photographer whose passion and energy made the night truly extraordinary. From 9pm to 2am, Chevo’s excitement never faltered—turning a cold, late-night outing into a thrilling, bucket-list-crossing experience. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it felt like a genuine hunt as he led us northeastbound to chase the northern lights, even outrunning pesky clouds that threatened to obscure our view. Chevo really took exceptional care of our group, especially when we found ourselves wading through deep snow. With only 8 people in the tour, the size was perfect—intimate enough for everyone to get ample turns taking pictures without any chaos. And speaking of pictures, Chevo’s photography skills are top notch! He knew all the best spots for viewing the northern lights, expertly positioning us to capture the magical lights perfectly. To top off the night, Chevo provided us with warm tea and sandwiches, which were a great addition and the perfect way to unwind after our adventure. After the tour, he took care to bring us back to our own accommodations, ensuring we got home safely. Since our family was the last group of the night, we even had the special treat of petting some shy but lovely reindeer—a delightful bonus that made the experience even more memorable. If you want a guide who combines expertise, care, and an infectious love for the chase, Chevo is absolutely the one—our family can’t recommend him enough! Takk, Chevo, for giving us our best night in Lapland! 👏

Awesome experience - What an unforgettable experience! It seemed complicated at first, with cloudy skies and low chances, but our guide, Chevo, never gave up. We traveled to the Swedish border and beyond until we found a clear spot where the aurora finally appeared. A once-in-a-lifetime moment.
