I would return to Rovaniemi just to do it again! - When I went on a trip to Lapland with my family, one of the things we knew was that we wanted to try snowmobiling - and despite choosing this tour and booking it with only two days in advance, we couldn't have made a better decision! The best option there is in terms of price and time spent driving the motorcycle: many tours include several extras, and in the end the time spent driving is 1 hour of the 3 hours advertised, for example; However, here we were on the motorcycles for at least 2:30 hours out of the total 3 hours. In our case, in the end it was a private tour because no one else signed up, but with this tour they do not allow more than 6 people anyway and they do not take sleds behind the motorcycles, which helps a lot so that it can be better amortized. the time and the guide best adapt to the rhythm of the group. Our guide was Mikko and he was delightful! He welcomed us a little early since we had arrived early, without this affecting the end time of the tour; He taught us how to ride the motorcycles safely without making the experience any less exciting, and he was very patient with us at first until we got a little used to it. The route he took us on was also amazing, and we were able to experience both a bumpier road with potholes through the forest, as well as a flat road where we could speed up much faster along a frozen river - and he was very kind and patient both. when we stopped to take photos, as with all the questions we asked. Great driving fun - the claim to offer a tour for advanced riders was fulfilled. - We deliberately chose the tour because it was advertised for advanced riders. Our expectations were fully met (deep snow skiing, free skiing on frozen swamps and fast skiing on frozen lakes). We were in a small group and only made a few photo stops, so we were able to make good use of the 2.5 hour ride. Unfortunately, the equipment was a bit worn and some of it was not available in the right size (all M gloves were already gone and I had to ride with XXS gloves), and the first snowsuit also had a large burn hole. They also tried to talk us into taking out additional insurance, which seemed a bit unprofessional. The guide was friendly but a bit reserved. The instructions on how to use the snowmobile could have been a bit more detailed, as only the basic functions were explained, but not, for example, how to set the heating.
