Knowledgeable, Well Designed - This was my first audio experience with Viator. It was an excellent experience. It took me a bit to easily navigate the information provided for the tour, but once I figured that out, I was happily on my way. The narrator’s style was engaging and the depth of information excellent. The recommendations at the end of the ppt were delicious and reliable. My only regret was that I could not schedule an in-person tour with the guide. I felt he was quite knowledgeable and could have answered additional questions I had if he were there. (I tend to ask a lot of questions.)

Very convenient! - Very useful application. A viable alternative to driving. You can use it at your own pace. It helps you find your way around a city of art like Rouen to visit the major points of interest with historical notions and curiosities. Cost absolutely affordable.

Perfect to discover the city at its own pace! - An absolutely great experience from start to finish! I was totally involved in this unusual, captivating and full of surprises. The one-hour tour (good, more or less if you walk fast or take your time) allows you to discover the main tourist places of the city. Special mention for the discovery of the Saint-Maclou cemetery, a place full of history and emotions, with the culmination of the mummified cat: both confusing and fascinating, a real highlight of the visit! Take the opportunity to stop at the pastry shop next to the entrance to the cemetery. The pastries are beautiful and all look delicious. I tested The Apple (very very good).
Everything is very well paced, with audio and PDF support. Sometimes there may be too much detail but the speech is passionate and exciting. The value for money is excellent: for a very reasonable price, we live a cultural, historical and sensory adventure that is well worth a visit!
And what about the gourmet break offered at the end? An excellent idea to conclude in style. The bakery located close to the last stop is a nugget: delicious products, a friendly atmosphere... We feasted there! Frankly, this is the kind of experience you want to recommend around you.

The tour is informative... - The tour is informative and entertaining, and it is helpful to be able to stop and start. We followed at our own pace and also followed some of the suggestions for additional activities.

Interesting and informative - Really informative tour. Although a little skewed towards the American tourist. I think the pacing should be looked at, obviously you can pause and restart the audio, but it shouldn’t be necessary every time for everyone - it is physically impossible to cover the distances in the time allocated at the moment.

It was good if you don't... - It was good if you don't want to spend the money on yours. Wish it was easier to navigate to the different locations.

Self paced audio tour - This is great if you want to go at your own pace or stretch the sites across days/times. There are some interesting details shared so it’s much better than just reading a guide book.

So dull. Poor directions. Great cure for insomnia - I normally love audio walking tours but not this one. The presenter clearly knew his city well and there was LOTS of information.
HOWEVER
1) it was delivered in the manner of bored air crew delivering the safety speech and I think this is being very unfair to many air crew.
2) the directions were very poor in the audio such than we constantly had to look at the map.
3) there were no distinct well marked stops in the audio.
4) the audio file repeatedly reset itself to the beginning.
5) it was so DULL! The description was so detailed he might’ve explained that water was wet or that roofs protect from the rain. My husband gave up after 20 minutes and I gave up after 40 minutes. I will however save the recording for whenever I have insomnia.

Lots of information but very dull with poor directions - I have done many audio tours before. I love them usually. This was filled with lots of information , clearly the presenter knows the history of their city. HOWEVER
1) the directions are poor and it’s necessary to keep stopping and looking at the map
2) the audio file doesn’t have a nice clearly identifiable set of stops and annoyingly keeps restarting from the beginning
3) all the information is read out drone like from a script with the enthusiasm of a bored aircrew delivering the safety advice. ( some aircrew are much more engaging) It is utterly without humour and is totally unengaging.
I shall keep the file for those awful nights when I can’t sleep - his drone is guaranteed to make me sleep.
My husband gave up after 20 minutes he found it sooo boring. I stuck it out for another 25 but couldn’t finish it.
Really disappointed.
