A day with Kevin! - My husband and I had an 11 night cruise on Virgin Voyages cruise line in April. We came back from that vacation with lots of things to talk about and stories to tell. The adventure that we talk about almost exclusively is our day on the island of Dominica with our private tour guide, Kevin! Kevin made the day very special and without worry. From the time we were picked up at the cruise terminal to the time we were dropped off, we experienced the most amazing time. Kevin showed us the beauty of the island from the waterfalls, the gorge, Champagne Beach for snorkeling, and the hot springs. He stopped at a farm stand so we could sample native fruits and rum, and we enjoyed his company at a local restaurant for lunch in the Rain Forest . He taught me about the Flora and Fauna of Dominica and shared stories about his youth on the island. Kevin took wonderful photos of us throughout the day and shared them with us. This adventure was worth every penny and will be a day we will always remember !

Wonderful excursion tailored to exactly what we wanted to see - We did a Caribbean cruise and this was one of our later stops. To start, this was our only booked tour that reached out to us with details BEFORE we even left on our vacation, which was so amazing because we had spotty internet on the ocean. Having the confirmation from Kevin and details of where to meet him before we even left was wonderful. When we disembarked in Dominica, Kevin was right where he said he would be. Leaving the port we asked if the itinerary for the day could be changed, and Kevin right away asked about us, what we wanted from our excursion, and then told us some highlights he suggested and immediately integrated a new itinerary catered to what we were looking for. Our goal was to avoid the majority of tourists and see some hidden gems, all while fitting in the most of our short day at port. Kevin definitely delivered. We hiked to one waterfall where we didn't see anyone else the entire time, we experienced Titou Gorge, then he took us up Trafalgar falls, beyond the lookout point. He let us stay as long as we wanted at each spot, and took photos for us to commemorate our journey. He had a lot of knowledge about the nature of Dominica, and offered suggestions for future trips. Kevin was engaging, and fun, but made sure we had the best day, accommodating each of us to our individual activity level and preferences. We were hoping to see the parrots of Dominica, despite arriving and leaving before the hours they normally are active. Kevin threw in a surprise stop near the end of our day to stop and see the parrots in captivity. Although we didn't get to see them in the wild, it was an off hand comment made early in our day, and he remembered it and brought us to the next best thing to try and make our trip exactly what we wanted. I've been lucky enough to travel a good amount, and Kevin made our tour one of the best excursions I've ever experienced. I would definitely recommend this company and this tour to anyone looking to experience Dominica, especially if you are looking to have an individualized experience made by someone who listens to what you're looking for in a trip and does their best to get you exactly what you wanted. Thoroughly enjoyed!!

Escape 1 - We had a fantastic day with Kevin that exceeded all our expectations, he was the perfect host, tour guide and photographer! Our safety was importantly to Kevin and we never felt rushed at anytime. The tour was escape 1 that took us to titou gorge, trafalgar falls & the hot springs, Kevin also took us to a great place for lunch near the falls that had lovely food and beautiful views. Highly recommend this trip.

The best tour. - Kevin was amazing! All tour guides should be like him! The sites were great. Kevins knowledge of extra things was very interesting. I would go with him again. Sooooo worth the money.

This is THE way to see the island. FANTASTIC DAY - This is an AMAZING way to experience the island. Kevin was an amazing guide and showed us the highlights as well as off the beaten path gems. For example, the ‘hidden’ hot springs that regular tours never visit was an awesome experience. Kevin adapted our itinerary to what we wanted (so don’t worry about being locked in to one of the options you see associated with the tour). We couldn’t have had a better day and it was worth every penny. Amongst the top excursions we’ve ever done over many decades

Kevin showed us what a... - Kevin showed us what a beautiful island Dominica is. We covered fresh water lakes, waterfalls and hot springs. We also covered the islands flora, fauna and ecology. Kevin was very accommodating of our needs.
