Bangkok is the perfect city of contrasts. Street food stalls outside Michelin restaurants, stilted homes alongside flashy high rises, and a melting pot of culinary influences that have evolved through the ages. Yet most people come to Thailand and eat the same thing they get at home: Pad Thai and Green Curry. But there’s so much more to offer.

Amazing food tour at night - This was an amazing experience. Tukky, our guide, took us all over Bangkok in a tuk tuk! We saw all kinds of sights at night and ate some incredible food in places we would never have found ourselves. Arrive hungry, because you certainly will not be when you leave. We ate in restaurants, markets and from street stalls. We even ate crickets and grubs, but it was mostly delicious, fresh Thai food. Tukky was an excellent guide. Highly recommended.

A fantastic food tour! - This food tour around Bangkok with Cha Cha was brilliant- a definite highlight of our trip so far! Cha Cha was really lovely and took us to lots of different places off the beaten track that served fresh, delicious food. We went last night and had a great time. We travelled by tuk tuk and had a walk around the old China town. A great evening! Thank you Cha Cha!

A great food tour! - We had an absolutely amazing food tour with our guide Cha Cha. It was fantastic as we got to try lots of different foods and restaurants we wouldn’t have normally visited. Cha Cha was friendly and knowledgeable. We came away full and with food to take home. We would highly recommend!

Special places, delicious food, fun guide! - My mother in law and I had a wonderful time with Chacha! I had done a Lost Plate tour in China previously and Bangkok’s LP tour did not disappoint! Every stop was more delicious than the last. The Tuktuk was an enjoyable way to get around beautiful Bangkok. Chacha is very kind and has a great sense of humor, we really enjoyed all the time we spent with him. The stops selected each were unique and definitely not on the tourist track. My MIL does not eat spicy food and the tour was able to accommodate that without problem. Our favorite part was making our own papaya salad and learning this special recipe. I highly recommend this tour for friends, for families, for anyone! So fun and delicious!!!

Awesome Food Tour and Destinations - Khun Mona was very detailed in the explanation of the whole tour. It was exciting to ride the tuk-tuk to different stops and markets which as a tourist, I might not thought about to find local delicacy. It was enjoyable able to try out the different cuisine from the different regions of Thailand. Lost plate also support local businesses which is also a great way to let people know about it and it make me think about Bangkok in a different light.

Enjoyable tour with Tukky - This is my third Lost Plate tour, but first outside of China. Tukky was a polite and friendly guide who encouraged us to try exotic things (crickets and silk worms!). She and our driver really helped make a nice experience. On previous Lost Plate tours, I have been in tuktuks with water, soda, and beer. At the end we received pencil cases/little canvas bags with chopsticks, a magnet, and a postcard (or some variety of those things). We didn’t receive that this time. Additionally, one of the guests had a shellfish allergy, and dehydrated shrimp was sprinkled all over a green papaya salad we made. Nice tour, but missing just the little details to make it exceptional. Would still recommend.

Memorable Tuktuk Ride - Mona and Cha Cha were our guides. Cha Cha was in the tuktuk with me and my friend and he explained in details all the places that the Tuktuk took us. They were both very friendly and patient with the 8 of us in 4 tutus. We had a great time doing the Food Tour.
