Additional Information

Bangkok is the perfect city of contrasts. Street food stalls outside Michelin restaurants, stilted homes alongside flashy high rises, and a melting pot of culinary influences that have evolved through the ages. Yet most people come to Thailand and eat the same thing they get at home: Pad Thai and Green Curry. But there’s so much more to offer.

Food and fun - Tukky made this tour so much fun and the food was delicious. We had a great time zooming around in the tuk tuk and tasting a few things we wouldn't have had the confidence to try on our own. An wonderful way to spend an evening in Bangkok.

Fun foodie tour - Be ready. To try lots of different foods from the different regions of Thailand. Definately come hungry! Our guide, Mona was very knowledgeable and answered Al of our questions. She guided us through some interesting neighborhoods where we got a glimpse of local life. The market tour was very informative as well. Had fun riding around in the tuk tuk and our driver was very nice. It was a very well organized tour.

Not so wow. Nice to do. - There wasn’t much food, and the dessert was a poor choice. Toward the end of the tour, everything felt forced and unnatural, unlike the beginning, which felt more relaxed and genuine. Overall, the experience lost its charm by the end and didn’t finish on a strong or authentic note.

Great tour, more variety would be nice - We’re big fans of the Lost Plate food tours and have been on three tours across Beijing and Guangzhou. The LP tour in Bangkok and we had a great time walking through the old town of Talad Noi with guide Mona who is very knowledgeable and shared so much about her unique culture. The only downside for us Malaysians was that the dishes we tried were very familiar and not as novel as we had hoped. Would be good maybe to switch up the stops every now.
