Our tour chauffeur will meet you at your accommodation or any other location that suits you. We will commence the subterranean exploration of Rome with a journey beyond the Aurelian Walls, venturing down the historic Appian Way to Rome’s Catacombs. On returning to the heart of the city, your tour chauffeur will guide your visit to the Capuchin Crypt, also known as the “Bone Church”. Few sites in Rome compare to this crypt made by the Capuchin Monks who utilised the bones of their brethren monks to embellish the walls and ceilings. You’ll witness: Catacombs of St. Callixtus, the ancient Basilica of San Clemente, and Capuchin crypt.
