- In Rome Vans are better than Buses: Van = up to 8 seats, Bus = from 9 to 50 seats. Note that Buses are not allow in the historical areas of Rome (official ship excursions from Cruise Companies are operated with Buses). This mean that the Bus will drop you off and you will walk for the entire duration of the tour (6/7 hours) to the other side of town at the end of the tour to be picked up. Best Viator’s Rome excursions are with private Vans. Bus in Rome has only a small number of authorized spaces dedicated to pickup/dropoff travellers so, usually, during the city tour you had to walk for about 4/6 miles. In a big group chance are that you’ll have to wait much longer for people lingering at the sights and stand in line longer for the toilets or at the snack counter. You will also have much less one on one time with your driver and guide or time to ask questions, because you’ll have to share them with a lot more people.
- Vans and their drivers will be at your complete disposal for the entire duration of the tour and can take you and stop where Buses cannot go, very close to all attractions, you will walk definitely less and see more!

Many Italian cities have restricted the areas where certain vehicles can circulate, so in order to offer you the best service possible and to let you reach your destination as comfortably as possible, we will arrange your vehicle accordingly
- Above 7 passengers please make multiple bookings and we will provide the service either with multiple Vans/SUVs, according to our availability and local regulations. The multiple vehicles will make the tour together with the same stops. The Guests can switch as they prefer in the available vehicles
- Important information: VATICAN and COLOSSEUM TICKETS = Please provide the full name of each traveler. Please note that Colosseum and Vatican Museums Tickets from 2024 are nominative and each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the full name provided at the time of booking, it will not be possible to change the name on it. In case of mismatch with the identity document, or not presenting a valid ID document at the Check Control, the access will be denied from each Official Management Check Control Staff and no refund will be issued
- Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Closures: every Sunday, Easter Days (Sun-Mon), 1 and 6 January, 11 February, 19 March, 1 May, 29 June, 15 August, 8 - 25 and 26 December. Instead Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, you will visit one of the Ancient Catacombs in Rome (tickets included). No refund is due
- Colosseum: for safety reasons the official Colosseum Management could lead delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors. In rare occasions, if Colosseum Tickets to be sold out on official website, you will enjoy the Colosseum from outside and we will refund to you the corresponding tickets cost (18 Euro per person)
- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and select museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
