Great way to see Rome - Great way to see Rome. We rode it all the way around one time and then got off and on at our preferred spots. No issues at all.

Rome viewing made easy - We had a free shuttle bus from our hotel to a destinated bus stop which was a bonus. We kept all the way round to decide where to get off. The crew from the bus company were great

Good option to get a general view of and get around Rome if planned rt. - Was very worried about this tour given quite a few very negative reviews. Worked out very well. Bought 48-hour tickets online (bus was a great leg-saver in the afternoon high heat); checked in at Rome Termini station very smoothly; and made good use of the app. The free gelato with the purchase was a nice, unexpected addition. ProTip: download the app; don't count on this tour for getting speedily to your destination (Rome traffic); and avoid the Vatican stop (packed) if you can.

Convenient, Affordable, and a Fantastic Way to Explore Rome! - We’ve absolutely loved using the Big Bus Tour during our time in Rome! Choosing the 3-day pass was one of the best decisions we made—it’s been such an easy, affordable, and stress-free way to get around the city. The hop-on, hop-off system allowed us to see all of the top sights at our own pace while also learning interesting historical and cultural facts along the way. The buses are reliable, comfortable, and offer a fantastic overview of the city. It’s made exploring Rome feel effortless, and we’re genuinely excited for our upcoming night tour—it’s such a great bonus to an already amazing experience! We still have a few places we’re planning to visit (and of course, we haven’t forgotten our gelato stop!). Highly recommend the Big Bus Tour for anyone wanting to make the most of their Roman adventure!

The bus was timely, the... - The bus was timely, the audio tour was a little cheesy but it was a good way to get to a lot of the heavy hitters. I would suggest “doing a lap” first and then deciding what you need to see.

Terrible.... - I have booked BigBus in countless cities before, always an ok experience. I like to see major attractions and a city's highlights in a couple of hours. Rome's BigBus was the absolute Worst. By a large order of magnitude from any other city. It doesn't pass by major attractions, so you mainly move in random streets. The English commentary is beyond terrible. It was expensive and useless. I would find another way to sightsee, avoid this tour completely

Don’t waste your time or money! Liars and cheats. - Absolutely rubbish. Incompetent staff. Rude. Three staff members lied to those who had been queuing for over 45 min, let other who joined 5min before the bus departed jump to the front of the queue for no reason. Ignored complaints made by LOADS of people waiting and Denied any refunds. Appalling company. Appalling staff. I will never use them again. There are plenty of other alternative bus sightseeing tours better priced and with much MUCH better service. Don’t waste your money. For reference the 3 imbeciles who don’t know how to do their jobs are in the photo. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Terrible - This is so expensive for what it is. Our bus took and hour and half from stop 1B to stop 3. 90 euros for two of us for 48 hours. This was after asking ticket sellers to show us where stop 5 was as we had tickets already only to be dragged to a tourist ticket shop, the guy told us a barefaced lie to get us there. The seller previous to that told us it was a3 minute walk, it was at least 10 minutes. The stops are hard to find and there are only 8 of them. You are better getting Ubers or taxis and combining with walking as there’s still a lot of walking involved to find the stops.

Bad experience!!! - There are many options for this type of service in Rome. We chose Big Bus Tours howeever when we got on the bus we werent told to take the ear pieces. After we sat down on the top tier we noticed others around us with them on. So we walked downstairs to find them. The guide is recorded and very average. The open bus becomes very hot if youre travelling in the afternoon. There is a cover but noone came up to adjust it and we werent sure whether we were able to touch it so we moved downstairs. The part that was the most annoying was our ride home at this point we were no longer wearing our ear pieces amd it had become dark, therefore we couldnt clearly identify where we were. This driver was nit announcing the stops and was relying on the ear pieces only. I approached him and asked if he could announce the stops as it was difficult to determine where we were. We got to Termini station amd he hopped off to chat to his mates and turned off the bus. People were all confused as to whether they had to change buses or wait for him to restart so we all off boarded. I told him that we were appalled by his service and he replied we were deaf. I would never use this company again or recommend the service, try another!

- The buses are so crowded that you have to wait for hours. We had to stand on a bus with a ceiling height of 1.60m, although of course you can't listen to a tour. If you could listen to the tour then it was so badly synchronized that you could have left it straight away. The alternative of normal public transport would certainly have been less stressful and cheaper.
