Great way to see Rome - Great way to see Rome. We rode it all the way around one time and then got off and on at our preferred spots. No issues at all.

Rome viewing made easy - We had a free shuttle bus from our hotel to a destinated bus stop which was a bonus. We kept all the way round to decide where to get off. The crew from the bus company were great

Neither a tour or guided - just a bus. - I like to do bus tours when visiting a city - it’s an easy way to see all the sights. I accept that in a city like Rome (small narrow streets) the bus will be restricted but this doesn’t even stop near the Vatican - only 8 stops. But my biggest complaint is the recorded guide - it’s terrible. It tells you next to nothing about the sights it mentions and completely misses the others. 90% of it is pointless and annoying “musak” . There are so many amazing buildings and ruins in Rome , instead they get excited about shopping or telling you to book tickets for extras. No mention at all of some areas that you do pass- including Castel Saint Angelo , Piazza Del Popolo or Villa Borghese . And the only mention some other sites get like the Spanish Steps - is just to say this is the nearest stop, it shouldn’t be called a tour bus - it’s just a bus on a circular route. Come on big bus - you can do better

Bad - Initially the 3rd stop of the Coliseum was cancelled, no one told us anything, now far from the Coliseum, did not stop at the 2nd stop, just passed directly and at 17:30 was returning with my family from the 8th stop to the 6th stop and when we arrived at the point there was a bus but the employee said that we could not get in pq he would stop at the 1st stop would not leave anymore, and the website says that the last bus would be 19:25 at that stop and also said that the people who came by subway p would not give more to use the bus, me, my husband with 2 children in a city we do not know. This disregard is absurd.

Long waiting time - website said 9am, got there, sign board said 9.49 and bus arrived at 10.10. Delayed and plus other operators were cheaper and had more frequent buses

Don’t take Big Bus Hop on and Hop Off. - Bus schedule is short and ended at 6pm. Many stops were skipped. But they didn’t inform buyers or alert riders. The night tour was no longer scheduled. The code for Vox City didn’t work! It was money wasted.

Cheated by Viator - We were unable to make the Hop On Hop Off on the day we booked. I contacted Viator and asked if we could use our tickets the next day…they would not allow me to do this so basically I lost my money.

Don’t waste your time or money! Liars and cheats. - Absolutely rubbish. Incompetent staff. Rude. Three staff members lied to those who had been queuing for over 45 min, let other who joined 5min before the bus departed jump to the front of the queue for no reason. Ignored complaints made by LOADS of people waiting and Denied any refunds. Appalling company. Appalling staff. I will never use them again. There are plenty of other alternative bus sightseeing tours better priced and with much MUCH better service. Don’t waste your money. For reference the 3 imbeciles who don’t know how to do their jobs are in the photo. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Terrible - This is so expensive for what it is. Our bus took and hour and half from stop 1B to stop 3. 90 euros for two of us for 48 hours. This was after asking ticket sellers to show us where stop 5 was as we had tickets already only to be dragged to a tourist ticket shop,the guy told us a barefaced lie to get us there. The seller previous to that told us it was a3 minute walk, it was at least 10 minutes. The stops are hard to find and there are only 8 of them. You are better getting Ubers or taxis and combining with walking as there’s still a lot of walking involved to find the stops.

Bad experience!!! - There are many options for this type of service in Rome. We chose Big Bus Tours howeever when we got on the bus we werent told to take the ear pieces. After we sat down on the top tier we noticed others around us with them on. So we walked downstairs to find them. The guide is recorded and very average. The open bus becomes very hot if youre travelling in the afternoon. There is a cover but noone came up to adjust it and we werent sure whether we were able to touch it so we moved downstairs. The part that was the most annoying was our ride home at this point we were no longer wearing our ear pieces amd it had become dark, therefore we couldnt clearly identify where we were. This driver was nit announcing the stops and was relying on the ear pieces only. I approached him and asked if he could announce the stops as it was difficult to determine where we were. We got to Termini station amd he hopped off to chat to his mates and turned off the bus. People were all confused as to whether they had to change buses or wait for him to restart so we all off boarded. I told him that we were appalled by his service and he replied we were deaf. I would never use this company again or recommend the service, try another!
