The tour starts at Piazza della Repubblica, where participants will meet their expert private guide and hop into an eco-friendly golf cart. Enjoy the thrill of zipping through cobbled streets and historic neighborhoods, including the historic center and Trastevere. Children can engage with an interactive LivTours puzzle book filled with games and facts about gladiators and ancient life. This exciting tour offers a fun and efficient way to experience much more of Rome than walking alone would allow.
- LARGER PARTIES: Please bear in mind that Golf Carts come in different sizes, but the maximum size will seat 8 people, including the guide. This simply means that for larger parties, you may be split into two carts. It obviously means that we will hire, with no additional cost, a driver who will be responsible for the second cart (don’t worry, you don’t have to drive in Roman traffic!). The tour will still be led by the tour guide driving the first cart who will make sure that information and entertainment is delivered efficiently to both carts.
- This activity booklet is designed for children from ages 5 – 10 years old and is perfect for mixed age families.
- The interactive children’s booklets are only made in English.

Perfect family-friendly way to see Rome — Brando was incredible! - We had the most amazing 3-hour private golf cart tour of Rome with Brando! We’re a family of five with kids aged 7, 4, and 1, and this was hands down the best way to explore the city. Brando was absolutely fantastic! He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging with both adults and kids. He explained history in a way our children could understand and kept them entertained the whole time.
Having a private tour made all the difference — we never felt rushed and could really enjoy the little moments, like our 1-year-old dancing to Italian buskers or stopping for pizza and gelato (a definite highlight for the kids!). The golf cart had proper child restraints for our younger ones, and everything felt very safe and comfortable.
We saw incredible viewpoints all around Rome, and Brando took beautiful family photos for us. It made exploring Rome with young kids so easy and enjoyable. Worth every cent! Our 4-year-old was sad at the end because she didn’t want Brando to go!
Highly, highly recommend this tour for any family visiting Rome

Incredible Family Tour - We have been on several tours with Liv. This was by far the best for a family. Our 5 year old son was engaged and said “it was the best day ever”! Jack wasn’t good: he was great! We got close to the main sites, minimal walking, and you see areas of Rome most won’t see if just walking. Jack was so accommodating and great with our son and the adults were thoroughly entertained as well. The information Jack shared was in detail, but not boring. The cart and ride was safe and efficient. If you have children, even if a bit older, book this tour immediately. Thank you Liv and especially Jack for making this such a day to remember!

Great way to get an overview Roma! - Massimo was a fantastic guide. He was super friendly and customized the tour for us based on what we had already seen and what tours we still had planned. A great way to see the city. Worth every penny!
