• Abbazia di San Paolo Fuori Le Mura - As one of Rome’s major basilicas, the Saint Paul Outside the Walls Basilica is the final resting place of Saint Paul, with his tomb located here.
• Abbazia delle Tre Fontane - Tre Fontane Abbey, also known as the Abbey of Saints Vincent and Anastasius, is situated on the site where Saint Paul was beheaded. At each of the three spots where his head bounced after beheading, a spring of water emerged—one hot, one tepid, and one cold. The church features three fountains enclosed by black marble shrines, placed on different levels. Believed to be miraculous, water from these fountains was distributed to the faithful until 1950, when the spring was closed due to pollution. The column where Saint Paul was bound before his execution is also located at this religious site. The Abbey will be included only if Santa Maria via Lata is closed.
