- Please note that THE NAMES YOU PROVIDE HAVE TO MATCH THE IDS OR PASSPORTS OF ALL PARTICIPANTS (including children), or the Colosseum will deny entry — and don’t forget to bring valid ID for everyone which is necessary to enter. No nick names nor missing or wrong name and/or last name are admitted by the Coloseum management. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need support with this matter.
- For minors, the age must be 17 or younger on the day of the activity
- The entrance tickets to the Colosseum cannot be changed or refunded
- Each traveler must show a valid ID matching the booking name for entry. Without ID, entry is not guaranteed
- Please show up at least 15 minutes before the tour to do the check in
- Meeting time is subject to change; if this occurs, you will receive a call or message from the activity provider. Please provide your correct phone number and country code
- Late arrivals will not be refunded
- In July and August due to the heat the duration of the visit is 2 hours

- The Ancient Rome tour involves Steps and a lot of walking on un-even path especially in the Roman Forum . We highly suggest flat confortable shoes. This tour is not suitable for any person with recent surgeries, with disabilities and for people in wheelchairs due to the street level , up street level and steps.

The meeting point is in the square in front of the Santi Cosma and Damiano Basilica, in Via dei Fori Imperiali 1 (halfway, near the Roman Forum entrance). Our staff will be wearing a light blue vest with our logos on. Please arrive 15 minutes early—late arrivals cannot join the tour.

Great tour and guide - Mircea Marciu was an amazing tour guide. He was extremely passionate and knowledgeable. And very engaging. His enthusiasm made the Colosseum tour one of the best I've ever been on.

Finding the Tour - Being inside the Colosseum was the most incredible. Having a guide explain the history enhanced the tour, although very informative, we moved a bit slower than needed. We were most appreciative of the tour operator helping us connect to our guide and group. Our meeting place was easy because the tour connector guide sent a photo of the meeting place. Being in Rome our first time was overwhelming and we were so grateful to her attentiveness to help us find our guide. I give her 5 stars.

A nice tour but it... - A nice tour but it started late. The guide was about 30 minutes late. A little difficult to hear and understand the tour guide.

Your good but not as advertised - 1p Colosseum guided Colosseum tour with Palatine Hill and Roman Forum optional tour. Not true. Palatine Hill and Roman Forum were guided tours and we didn’t get to Colosseum until 2:45. Had other things scheduled so didn’t get to spend fair amount of time in Colosseum which was disappointing. Tour guide was great but experience not as advertised.

Tour, yes! But maybe we chose a bad day… - The VIP only Colosseum with Gladiator Arena Tour is highly recommended, but with another Tour company. Too many issues to describe. My tip for Hadile and the Team, just apologize for your mixup and make it right, if possible. It goes farther than excuses and contempt.
Or maybe this was just a bad day for you and your Team. It happens.

Great guide, unprofessional company. - The tour guide was fantastic, but the company is suspicious. They cancelled our tour, and offered a different tour in its place. I told them it conflicted with another tour, and told them I needed the original tour that I booked. They did not tell me that was not possible until I showed up the morning of the tour. When I contacted them they offered no resolution. Thankfully we were able to move our second tour or we would have lost out on hundreds of dollars. Not a professional company. I would suggest booking with one of the many other companies.

Very bad - A huge disappointment. Very unorganized. We were escorted thru vip line and told to wait at entrance for the other 4 in our group. We waited for over 30 minutes and finally gave up. No idea what to do or where to go. Viator issuing a full refund.

Awful experience - would not attend this tour! - We were in Rome for only 2 days prior to a cruise. We were leaving for the port on a Monday early afternoon so booked an 11:30 am VIP tour that morning so we could see the Colosseum before we left. At 9:30 pm the night before we received a WhatsApp message from Adriano stating that our tour was moved to 12:45 pm. Since we needed to leave for the port around 1:15 pm we said we couldn’t make that work. Adriano said he would put us in a full arena tour starting at 11:45 am knowing that we needed to leave by 1:00 pm. We showed up at 11:30 am and the tour didn’t get started until 12 pm. We quickly asked the guide if we were heading directly to the Colosseum - he told us our entry tickets weren’t until 1:15 pm! So there was no way we were getting to see the Colosseum. We had to leave the tour almost immediately. I tried contacting Adriano twice - no response. I then requested a refund via Viator - they said no. I pleaded my case - they still said no. I am now going through my credit card company to challenge the charge. I thought we would be treated better with Viator - I guess I was wrong. Would be wary of taking this tour as your time could change and the tour operator may not be truthful with you. Very disappointed.
