A licensed tour guide will vividly recount the thrilling and dramatic events that occurred where you now stand. Enjoy a close-up view of the exposed underground chambers, explore the expansive corridors, and ascend the ancient stone stairs of this remarkable amphitheater, while learning about its rich history.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- The meeting time is subject to change. In this case, you will be contacted in advance via email
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the tour
- • Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
- • Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)

Dream come true - Thanks to Silvia - A tour of the Colosseum was a dream of mine for many years. Today it became a reality, and our tour guide, Silvia, was outstanding! She made our tour exciting and informative as she told stories of the Roman Emperors, Gladiators, and animals that filled the Colosseum once upon a time. Silvia’s knowledge was outstanding, and we walked away from the tour learning so much about the history of Ancient Rome. Thank you Silvia for giving me and my family this wonderful tour on my dream holiday. We will definitely recommend you to others.

Best tour guide for the Rome experience. - Awesome experience. Silvia our guide was very entertaining, engaging and knowledgeable. Wonderful - We had a great experience with our excellent tour guide Valentina. Despite the crowds she was able to navigate to just the right places and provide in incredible insights. She made sure to engaged everyone in the group and was very entertaining. My family and I had a wonderful time and learned so much about such an incredible place.

Great way to visit ancient Rome - At the beginning it was not easy to find the meeting point, although the google maps had been directed to the site, there was no information about who would receive us...which leaves us completely unaware of what to do, so the dps of calling the support was told who was the person...our guide Manoel was splendid, was an excellent telling of the history of Rome...the stars are all for him... congratulations

Great tour guide - Our guide Radu, for the Colosseum , Roman Forum and Paletine hill, was so knowledgeable, entertaining and informative, the best guide we had over our 3 weeks in Italy. He really brought these places to life.

Great experience - Max was a great guide. Just the right pace, just the right amount of information and stories. Funny and kind with the group, well informed about the history, architecture and culture and with an infectious love for the city. It makes such a difference to have a guide as there is much you'd miss without it. It felt worth it to pay the extra to get access to the Arena floor as it gives you a sense of the awesome size of the Colosseum. Even with 'skip the line' tickets, which do help speed the wait, there are still queues and crowds at all the main sights in Rome - but I felt differently about it when my daughter pointed out that in ancient times we'd also have been part of the crowds walking through the Forum and entering the Colosseum, so we should just enjoy the bustle as part of the experience.

Essential to getting the most from visiting these magnificent sites - This was the highlight of our week in Rome. The buildings alone make an overwhelming impact, but our appreciation of them was greatly amplified by our guide Elena, who brought history to life with colourful and vivid stories and examples of how people lived and died throughout the ages, giving us a clear perspective of life for both the wealthy and the poor. She was engaging, entertaining and informative- her fascinating asides, such as how to correctly operate the drinking fountains, and the omnipresence of SPQR, made us feel at home.

An Experience of Ancient Rome Architecture and History! - Good overall tour but it lasted almost 3 hours. Make sure to bring a water and use the washroom before starting the tour because you won't have time to stop anywhere during the tour. Our tour guide(Mariana?) was very passionate and extremely informative about everything we saw. The colosseum was incredible. The tour is packed with people everywhere so the headsets we had to listen to our tour guide really helped. The Roman Forum and Palastine Hill areas were also incredible but after the Colosseum visit( at least 1 1/2 hours) we were getting tired and ready to call it a day. We would highly recommend this tour! We were warned about pick pockets in the area but no one in our group had any problems. This tour is a lot of time on your feet so wear comfortable shoes.
