An Unforgettable Family Experience with Nima - We had the most wonderful experience with Nima our guide on our Appian Way bike tour. Traveling as a family with three children, we were looking for something engaging, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, and Nima exceeded all expectations. He was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive throughout the entire experience, making sure each of us felt comfortable and confident. His knowledge of the Appian Way and its history was exceptional, yet he delivered it in such an engaging and accessible way that even the kids were fascinated. What truly stood out was how effortlessly he made the tour feel fun and relaxed while maintaining a strong sense of safety and care. Everything was smooth, easy, and thoughtfully managed from start to finish. A truly memorable experience that we would highly recommend to any family visiting Rome.

Appian Way Bike Riding - so worth it!! - Easy rental process (bring a license as you’ll need to leave a photo ID), good bike rental prices, Firas was friendly, and the area is fantastic - full of rich history and natural beauty. Having a map would’ve been helpful. We found a bike path that was away from cars and a much smoother ride than over the cobblestones. We ate at Il Giardino di Giulia e fratelli - it was a delightful experience from the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant. Guilia was so sweet and helpful. We ordered the meat platter and it didn’t disappoint.. oh my goodness, it was delish. We made a lot of wonderful memories that day along the Appian Way. Highly recommend!

Nice to do away from tourist crowds - It's hard to get there by bus. Bus 660 from Taversari arch. And finally walking. The bikes weren't in great condition. In the end 2 punctures for 7 bikes. On the plus side, the course was fine without too many cars. And many remains on both sides of the track. 2 hours is fine. Decent rental staff. Not very talkative. But he knew French.

Nice experience, but substandard bikes - Bad condition of the bikes. -The rental wanted you to leave your ID with them, which doesn't feel good. The bus doesn't run often, so be out in good time if you're using public transport.
