If you're using Subway/Metro, get off at the Piramide station and take the PIAZZALE OSTIENSE exit. Once you're outside, the meeting point will be on your left-hand side. The check-in begins at 8:30, we depart at 8:45. We use the train and cannot wait for latecomers.

Superb informative tour around a magnificent site. - We were fortunate enough to be guided by Rebecca for our tour around Ostia Antica. The site is vast with many very well preserved and restored buildings including some fabulous mosaics. It was remarkably uncrowded (mid March so pre high season) which made for a very relaxing visit. Rebecca is clearly a Rome enthusiast and answered all of our questions on a huge range of topics. She was very personable, friendly, flexible and helpful. She also gave us a number of recommendations for other things to see in Rome and beyond. We would thoroughly recommend this tour for people who would like something removed from the madding crowds.

Amazing experience! - Joan was a terrific tour guide. My husband and I were impressed about all the history we learned about Ostia Antiqua. The castle visit was such a cherry on top - we felt like we walked into a Disney movie. Highly Recommend for sure !!

Great value! - This tour was great. Our guide Ali was patient, knowledgeable, and she was even willing to take us to a bonus spot that someone on our tour had read about, and she had education in archaeology in Rome. The group was relatively small and the site isn't very crowded so we didn't need to use the whisper devices. Taking the train was easy; you just scan a credit card at the entry and it saved money. This tour is a great value.

Wonderful experience - Our guide, Rebecca was wonderful. Great knowledge of the history of Rome and the area. Her love for the area was evident and the graphics that she brought helped us to understand this wonderful place.

Ostia Antica wow! Ali knows it all! - Ali was outstanding and clearly loved Rome and its history. Ostia antica wow! She answered everyone’s questions ( and there were alot) and took us to an additional place when people requested. She also provided us with her favorite food places in Rome. Thank you Ali! Fully recommend Ali and tour!

Amazing guide and so much to see - Rebecca was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable about the site as well as all the history of Rome. Ostia Antica was fascinating and Rebecca made it even better. We had a great group of 8 people. I would highly recommend Rebecca and this adventure!
