Amazing day! Mary was the best guide! - We wanted a tour that gave us time to explore a couple of the cities on the Amalfi Coast and this was the perfect experience. Mary our tour guide was the best guide we had our entire vacation that included 5 other tours. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. Gave us enough info but not over bearing and great recommendations in Sorrento! Van was clean and comfortable and our driver was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

Great way to transfer hotels and sightsee along the way! - We hired Touring Italy for a private transfer from Rome to Sorrento, but wanted to also make some stops along the way. The owner, Roberto, arranged for us to have a private tour of Pompeii, lunch and wine tasting at a winery in Mt. Vesuvius, and a drive along the Amalfi Coast with a stop in Positano all before bringing us to our hotel in Sorrento. Our driver, Andrea, was amazing! Not only was he prompt and courteous, he was also funny, helpful, and engaging during the entire trip. It has been almost a month since our drive with Andrea, and my family and I are still talking about how much more fun he made that day. The private tour and wine tasting were also highlights of our trip. Roberto did an excellent job of arranging everything for this day, and it was a stress free way to move from one hotel to another while also creating many memories along the way. I highly recommend Touring Italy!

High quality and professional! - My wife and I took a half-day trip with Roberto and another pair of Americans. We toured and went to lunch at a local farm in Sorrento (including homemade pasta, mozzerella, and limoncello -- delicious!), and spent a hour of free time in Positano. Roberto also stopped along the way at several locations to explain different areas of the region or take photos. Highly recommend Roberto and his team -- his positive attitude and in-depth knowledge of the region will be sure to make your trip simple and enjoyable!

Outstanding guide for the Amalfi Coast. - We spent several days touring the Amalfi Coast with Roberto. His communication and planning were exceptional. We loved his recommendations and really enjoyed our time with him. He is a tremendous guide and added so much to our experience.

Magnificent trip to italy. - Well where do I begin. My husband and I had the most fabulous vacation of our life. From the time we were picked up at the Rome airport to the return, we had the most wonderful drivers, educational tour guides with passion in their hearts. They're only goal was to make sure we had a wonderful time, and that they accomplished. Roberto has the kindess group working with him. Always smiling, happy to make us happy. Our hotels, tours, dining recommendations were spectacular. I Actually felt like a princess. Having one on one tour guide is the way to go. I learned so much history and knowledge from christin during our rome visit. I could have listened to him for days. Driver simona was a delight. The drivers were punctual and courteous, even opened the doors for us. Roberto made sure we had our tickets for all the sites, the train ride from rome to Naples. The boat tickets from Naples to capri. He did it all. All I had to do was show up. What a great vacation that was. Wish I could give 6 stars for this wonderful man and the job he prouds himself on. roberto please know how much I appreciate all you did, too make our trip the best ever. Spectacular Tour Service! Rome ,Florence, Sorrento, and Pompeii - On behalf of the Holmes & Rengaraj Family, I would like to extend a warm thank you to Mr. Roberto D'Alessandro and associates at Touring Italy for arranging a lovely 4-day tour for two families (4 adults and three kids (5, 8 and 12 years old)). Roberto kept in constant communication with us prior to our arrival, during each city visited, and all the way up to our departure to ensure that we were on track. We were met with exceptional service hospitality and enthusiastic professional attitudes. From the timeliness arrangement of our private airport transfer into Rome to our tour guide’s making sure we knew our way around the Metro station, truly being considered of our sense of adventure and at the same time, mindful of our safety and comfort. Best of all, the attractions visited were arranged with a private guided tour with skipped line entry. Our guides were very knowledgeable about every aspect of Italian culture, art and history, explaining and answering our questions with the most expressive and sense of pride. They each led the way throughout the various cities, explaining each piece of architecture and perfectly guiding us with such detailed and giving us insight into the present everyday Italian life and transporting us back in time. All of our tours were spectacular, but one really will resonate in our hearts, and that is our half day walking guided tour to Florence was amazing with Elena. She made us feel right at home strolling around the streets and discovering amazing art and historical treasures in each turn. Elena accompanied us to a pizza restaurant (her recommendation), and it was delightful! She answered our questions about the present life in Florence She didn’t want to part without making sure that we were right inside the train station to catch the train back to Rome where we were staying. She is truly a breath of fresh air! We appreciated each of the guide’s suggestions and recommendations, the best restaurants to eat, shop and the best photo ops. We highly recommend Touring Italy to plan your next adventure!

Amalfi Coast experience - Very expensive trip. Excellent driver over the 8 hours drive to Positano and Sorrento. The vehicle was not VIP standard - fairly uncomfortable and utility. No water provided in the vehicle over 11 hour trip. Positano absolutely wonderful but thought Sorrento a waste of time and journey - purely a tourist trap and very crowded. Lunch in a farmhouse as described in the 'overview' did not happen. The organising company needs to 'up' its facilities to qualify for VIP status.
