An Absolutely Unforgettable Sunrise Hike — Preikestolen with Fjord Hikes - We cannot rave enough about our sunrise hike to Preikestolen with Fjord Hikes — this was, without question, the highlight of our trip to Norway. Our guide Kenny was incredible from start to finish. He was funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about Norway, sharing fascinating insights about the area and surrounding fjords that made the whole experience so much richer. The hike itself flew by while we were chatting, laughing, and soaking in the scenery. Kenny took us to the absolute best vantage points for photos, ensured we hiked at a pace that felt just right for us and was prepared for everything. Being part of a small group made the whole morning feel intimate and special, and the treats he brought along while we took in the view at the top were such a thoughtful touch. Honestly, we think this hike is undersold on the website — the sunrise experience completely surpassed our expectations. Watching the sun come up over Preikestolen, with hardly anyone else around, was magical in a way we could never have arranged on our own. The hot gourmet breakfast at the end was the perfect finishing touch to an already incredible morning. We truly believe this experience would not have been nearly as special without Kenny and the Fjord Hikes team. If you're considering this hike, stop hesitating and book it — you will not be disappointed. We only wish we'd had time to also join their Kjerag hike! Hike of a lifetime! Do this hike! - Wow! This was an absolutely wonderful, once in a lifetime experience! Our guide, Stephan was a wealth of information about the city, the mountains, the history of the area. He was the absolute best we could have hoped for. This sunrise hike is a must. We arrived at the top with only two other groups there, and for a bit had the entire place to ourselves. I was so happy to miss the crowds, both while hiking and while soaking in the incredible scene. This hike was the thing I was looking forward to most in my trip to Norway, and it did not disappoint. To start out in the dark, see the sun rise at the top of the world, and then have a completely different hike on the way down because it’s now light out- it’s hard to describe. The sunrise hike to Priekestolen should be on everyone’s bucket list! And I cannot say enough about what an amazing guide Stephan is!
