Starting with a pickup in Stavanger and collecting our tasty lunches, we head to Preikestolen Basecamp. Following a safety briefing for canoeing, we paddle across the lake, reach the shore, and embark on a hike along a forgotten trail. This trail is unknown to tourists and unused by other guide companies, ensuring we have it all to ourselves!
The pace is comfortable, allowing time to adjust clothing and gear, hydrate, rest, enjoy lunch, and capture photos along the way. The hike takes approximately 3 hours to reach Preikestolen, our main destination for the day.
After taking in the breathtaking views and relaxing, we make our way back down. The descent typically takes about 2.5 hours to return to the parking area.
