A fun day out on the water - 25/4/2026 As a dolphin lover I was excited to visit Perth to have a chance to see dolphins.. The weather today was calm and sunny which was fabulous. All the staff on this boat tour are very friendly, helpful and professional. The boat itself was clean and comfortable. There is plenty of seating areas and the wet suits provided were in excellent condition. It was lots of fun searching for the dolphins and finally seeing them appear in the water. A few of them came close enough for us to see easily although they swim and jump up and down in the water very quickly so it’s sometimes not easy to capture photos. I was very happy to be part of this event and highly recommended this day trip to other tourists visiting Perth.

Must do experience! - From the moment we got there, the team were so welcoming and accommodating. A lovely crew to have enjoyed this experience with. Being able to swim with dolphins in their natural habitat was a feeling myself and my parents can’t even begin to explain. We would recommend this to anyone looking into it whether you are with your family, children, friends or even going solo. Once again big shout out to the entire team for a magical day.

Dolphin Swimming - Amazing day! I had read some of the more negative reviews (e.g about overcrowding) and been worried, but glad I booked in the end! The dolphins swim around and between you, a fantastic experience. 8am - 2pm, approx £150 per person. Large size boat and day with calm waves so didn’t experience any sea sickness. Lots of free parking on nearby streets. In the morning we boarded the boat, with clear instructions about the day and assistance fitting into wetsuits, then set sail. Found two pods of dolphins within the first three hours but they weren’t displaying the correct behaviours out of five types (feeding, socialising, fighting, etc) so the boat continued. In the next two hours we saw dolphins almost constantly, and each team got in the water 3 times to swim with the pods (for a couple minutes each time). You slip into the water while holding onto a belt on the person in front, floating instead of swimming/kicking, with the guide at the front using a little jet device to pull the chain of people a few feet through the water if the dolphins/boat moved further away. There was twenty participants on the boat, so 4 groups of 5 chained people, and the order of the chain is switched each time so those at the back (who can still see well) get an even better view on the next swim. The water was a decent temperature, and a hot shower hose available to warm inside your suit if you start getting cold on the boat between swims. Definitely recommend bringing a gopro with waterproof case for fantastic views, though the guides have a camera too on the end of their jet device and share photos of the dolphins for free. While on the boat we also saw a huge manta ray in the water, which is apparently very rare as they are only seen 1-2 days a year in this area. Finally lunch was served buffet style, a decent size mix of charcuterie meats and veg/dips/salad. Good allergy labelling for milk/gluten/nuts/vegetarian but high risk of cross contamination (could be improved by serving people with allergies first or separating the trays/tongs further apart). A high price for a quick experience, but definitely worth it if you’re an animal lover

Fabulous day snorkelling with 20 dolphins - What a wonderful friendly show the dolphins put on for us today. We saw way more than we expected. Really friendly crew, lots of advice and information. Lunch was excellent, really fresh and tasty. Plenty of equipment on board and enough space for everyone in the group.

Dolphins Everywhere - Such a wonderful opportunity to encounter dolphins in the wild. We felt safe and enjoyed all aspects of this experience. Of course the dolphins were the stars and we were very lucky to get close up with literally dozens of gorgeous dolphins in two pods of adults and baby claves. Extraordinary!!! The company was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Lunch was more than adequate and accommodating for a variety of dietary needs. A wonderful and memorable experience all round.

Recommended - Totally beautiful and impressive. Since we were only a small group, we could often see into the water and the dolphins. Many came very close to the boat. Unforgettable! Food was very good and very good care by the crew. Recommended.

Greatest Dolphin swim tour - This may be the most ethical wildlife company I have ever had the pleasure of touring with. No feeding/ no pushing for interactions. Just pure encounters in the wild.

A morning chasing life dolphins with an enthusiastic crew - The boat goes chasing the dolphins in the open sea, which is quite an endeavour. They can be found earlier or later, so it can get frustrating if you've been waiting a few hours on your wet suit - but that is the beauty of wild dolphin encounters! The crew is absolutely lovely and makes the experience, even the wait, much nicer. I could have had more explanations about dolphins, and specifically about those living here during wait times, since they know a lot. The jump in the water is done in groups of around five, three at a time, so it gets a bit busy and messy. I wondered if practicing the jump in and chain swim in advance wouldn't maybe have helped it go smoother once dolphins were spotted. The shark-scaring machines can be intimidating. Lunch was good; it makes sense to not eat too much or you might not feel like jumping in the water again! All in all, a positive experience, yet few improvement opportunities are there to make it top notch.

No dolphins not worth it - It’s not worth it at $299 per person for a no show of dolphins. I wouldn’t want to take a family unless you are prepared for this loss if you can’t rebook another time within 12 months which most of us can’t do. Pro: The staff were good and knowledgeable. Neg: Food was ok but doesn’t cater for kids. It was a make your own buffet of in my case stale bread roll, cold meats, Pasta salad, crackers, little cheese, fruit and some dip. Could do with some cakes, muffins, chips etc. Sat around in a wet suit for 5 hrs in heat going around the bay several times in search of. Most ended up on their phones or trying to doze off. No cold drinks. Tea coffee hot chocolate and room temp water. Could have done with some cold soft drinks. While I understand having no dolphins is a possibility but supposedly rare I think it’s only fair that both sides should cut their losses and at least give a 50% refund for those who can’t honestly rebook. Yes they still have to pay staff and fuel but with 36 people on board I’m sure it’s still worth it for customer satisfaction

Disappointed-Child was not allowed to swim. Cannot find dolphin - Disappointed. Daughter was not allowed by tour operator to swim in the sea. Their reason-her menses can attract sharks-is not scientifically proven. I was able to pull out scientific research that debunk this myth: menses blood did not attract sharks and the water pressure will stop menses flow while they cannot pull out any evidence when i asked them. My daughter ended up all curled up in the boat doing nothing. Most of us who jumped into sea did not manage to see any Dolphin. We wasted a long time in the boat searching around the sea. A couple of dolphins did swim near our boat once but disappeared quickly. I feel the prices are too exorbitant & the money could have been spent elsewhere for some higher value experience. Operator did offer discount vouchers for a return trip but my daughter is not keen after this experience.
