Additional Information

Mangue Seco is a picturesque hamlet nestled between Bahia and Sergipe. It’s a perfect spot to while away the day, owing to its lack of extensive hotel infrastructure. To paint a picture, the hamlet is home to a mere 200 souls. It truly is a secluded haven situated between a freshwater beach offered by the Rio Real and the sea’s edge.

The excursion kicks off at 7:00 am, taking off for the charming village of Mangue Seco, which showcases the most prominent features of the area: expansive sand dunes, towering coconut palms, abundant sunshine, and a plethora of beaches. To fully explore the area, dominated by unpaved routes, the hiring of a buggy is advised.

Please be advised that the expenses for the buggy and dining are not covered in the tour price, so it is suggested to bring cash to settle payments with the local buggy operators’ association. On the bright side, the package does include a delightful sailboat or motorboat excursion! Our amazing journey draws to a close at 5:30 pm with a return trip to your hotel of residence.

Wonderful - The place is incredible, we did a 5 in 1 tour with GuiaFD and it was wonderful In just one trip, it was possible to enjoy every corner and with a private tour. We love Falcony from GuiaFD It is worth it!

dry mangrove - We left the Aracaju shore, took a speedboat and arrived at the village of mangue seco, a very nice place. From there we took a buggy to the beach, the place is very beautiful and you can take lots of cool photos. The buggy stops at 5 strategic locations for photos. The beach is empty but with an excellent structure of tents and some street vendors. We really liked everything. Grade 10

Worth knowing ! - We drove to Ponta do Saco beach. From there, we took a fast boat and crossed (40 minutes) and descended into a dry mangrove, a quiet village. We took a buggy (you can't go to the beach on foot). The beach is beautiful and quite deserted with some tents. We loved it, it's worth the trip.

Paradise on earth - Wonderful! We went on a second off-season and had the dry mangrove beach practically exclusively. Buggueiro very friendly and helpful. The guide, van driver, an amazing person! It is worth it!

Dry Mangrove - Dry mangrove is very beautiful, in addition to its lush dunes, the local cuisine is very pleasing and the village is charming.

Nothing to see - It's the same thing on the Aracaju waterfront. The waves that break on the shore, break there too. Mangue Seco, is a very small village where the soap opera was filmed. The dune is already in people's backyards, being contained by vegetation. There is a restaurant on the waterfront that takes forever, but has a good price. Beware of buggy traps. Elea offers a complete tour for an additional 100 reais. The only difference is that we move through the sands and native forest. The village of mangue seco is exactly where the gnt drops off the catamara! In other words, it is already included in the operator's package. Fall for it! The buggy driver took the gnt to a town called Coqueiro, just so he could put gas in the buggy!

Rustic and isolated place - Some dunes to the isolated beach of Mangue Seco. It's worth the trip through the landscape, but on a next visit I would stay just in the village.
