Tirana International Airport - Upon arrival at Tirana International Airport, you will be greeted by a tour guide holding an ALBANIA INBOUND sign. After meeting, you will be promptly taken to your hotel in the city center for check-in.

Tirana - Enjoy a 1.5-hour walking tour of the city center, where you will be introduced to Albania’s culture and Tirana’s history. You will receive fascinating facts and information while visiting landmarks such as Skanderbeg Square, Et’hem Bey Mosque, The Clock Tower of Tirana, The Castle of Tirana, The main Boulevard and Pedestrian street, Blloku Region, the former residence of dictator Enver Hoxha, the House of Leaves, and more.

The walking tour concludes at Tirana New Bazaar, home to the finest local traditional restaurant, ODAS GARDEN. Savor a variety of Albanian traditional dishes while enjoying live music from a local band.

Explore Berat, The City of 1001 Windows

Belshi Lake - Today, travel towards central Albania. In Belsh town, take a short coffee break by the largest of the town’s 84 lakes.

Berat Castle - Climb the hill to visit the castle. Enjoy a 1.5-hour walking tour of the 2500-year-old castle, learning about its evolution under various empires, including Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman. Visit landmarks such as the Church of Saint Mary, Church of the Holy Trinity, Red Mosque, Fortress Walls & Watchtowers, Traditional Ottoman Houses, and more.

Berat - Descend to the city center and explore the famous Mangalemi neighborhood. Discover key landmarks like the city gate, former Pasha’s residence, The Sultan’s Mosque, Berat’s lively boulevard, and more. Cross the renowned Gorica Bridge and explore the old Gorica neighborhood. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.

Albanian Alps & Theth Village

Shkoder - The guide will meet you at your preferred time and location, where a car will be ready to start the adventure. Midway to the Albanian Alps and Theth, pause in Shkodra for a coffee break.

Boge - Before reaching Theth village, stop along the mountain ranges of the Albanian Alps. Experience a breathtaking mountain view that captivates the senses, offering a stunning natural panorama.

Theth - Arriving in Theth marks the beginning of your nature exploration in this beautiful region. Start with a leisurely walk from the Church of Theth to the iconic Reconciliation Tower.

Blue Eye of Theth - Continue the journey to the enchanting Blue Eye. A 15-minute drive followed by a 45-minute hike (2.5KM) will lead you to this magical spot. Nestled in the mountains with refreshing air and water, spend around 2 hours enjoying this serene location.

After a relaxing time at the Blue Eye, return to Tirana.

Nature Adventure: Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain and Airport Transfer

Lake Bovilla - Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on an exciting hiking adventure at Bovilla Lake.

Travel through the Albanian countryside to the dramatic Bovilla Canyons, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and pause for photos and stretching. Continue by vehicle to the impressive Bovilla Dam, standing 91 meters high and serving as a vital water and electricity source for Tirana.

From here, start the hike toward Gamti Mountain, where each turn reveals stunning views of the lake and surrounding landscape. The trail includes short breaks to rest and enjoy the scenery. After about 25 minutes, you’ll reach the only café on Gamti Mountain, followed by a 10-minute climb over rocky terrain to reach the summit. At the top, take in one of Albania’s most spectacular panoramic views.

Descend along the same path, visit the river shore, and enjoy free time for a meal or snack before returning to Tirana.

Tirana International Airport - In Tirana, you will be dropped off at a meeting point where a driver will be waiting for you. You will be promptly transported to the airport, concluding your Albania Long Weekend adventure.
